24sportsweb takes 120$ fees for moneybookers payout. Is it normal?

Somedays ago has made request for payout 9000$ by moneybookers. As the maximum sum in a week for payout is 5000$, the sum have divided into 2 parts. 5000$ should pay this week, other on the following. Has been strongly surprised when has seen that for the first part of payment 60$ dollars (accordingly 120$ for two parts) have removed in addition. I Many times transferred money by moneybookers, but never was such big fees (Usually in general without the fees). In rules payout by moneybookes is not specified, except “All payouts fees will be covered by the clients”. But as far as I know the fees of moneybookers is minimum (in anyway more less than 60$).

Whether tell has 24SportsWeb rights to takes 120$ fees? (In my opinion this sum is proved by nothing)

1.33% isn't a crazy fee for any kind of withdrawal.

$120 is cheap for a $9000 withdrawl. Some books will try and charge that much on a $1000 withdrawl.

That said, books charging these excessive fees for withdrawl is a bit of a joke, but it's just additional income for them.

Guess I have to disagree from the replies thus far, as this seems like a rather BetCris-like moneygrab in my opinion. Pinnacle will move this amount for free, or $15 if it's not the first withdrawal of the month. Greek will charge $15 as a flat rate. BetFair will do it for free at any time.

All European bookies will let you withdraw for free (as far as I am aware), or it will be a very limited fee. Same with most of the top A+ books. Some just look to squeeze every penny out of their customers, and they know that if a customer wants to withdraw their cash, they have no choice but to pay that extortionate fee.

I vaguely remember reading somewhere moneybookers charged 2% for withdrawals. Maybe varies with volume though.

The 1% max € 0.50 above is just for personal accounts, not business ones.

I agree Twister. As an aside, just pray that you never choose the book to book transfer option from BetCris. If you never have, then good on you. Truly a remarkable and memorable money gouge.....

Moneybookers fees to merchants are set at 1.9pct basis over EUR 100,000 in transactions for a month.
If less than that it goes on a sliding scale up to a maximum of 2.9 percent.

In terms of whether the fee to the OP is justified, it´s just a function of the market, I guess. Very few non US facing sites charge anything for withdrawals, they would lose custom if they tried. For books which have primarily US clients however, it is the norm. Always read the ts and cs and if they are not clear, ask.

I guess it depends on the sportsbook, I've never been charged for a Moneybookers withdrawal from any A+ book but I think that's because I only make one withdrawal per month, think you get charged for any subsequent withdrawals in the same month.

Petty little C- rated books will charge you that kind of money for withdrawals ... serious book will never do that... they will ofer one free withdrawal per month (at least) and any additional for a small fee... Bet911 offer 1 free withdrawal per month but upto a max of $1500 and that show hows petty small client orientated the book is.
