Bwin disabled account after one bet which is still outstanding?!
    Hi there,

Has any one got advice on how to deal with Bwin over this matter?

I just opened a new account a couple of days ago and placed a bet on this weekend's F1 Singapore race. I tried to log in today and got a message reading "This account has been disabled. Please contact our support team"

I gave them a phone and they confirmed my account was shutdown but the customer service team don't get told the reasons why so i've to wait on an email from them explaining this. I sent a follow up message through the website saying how disappointed I was to be treated this way as the they told me nothing about this and I have live funds in my account which I can't access!

Has any one else had this kind of problem, if so what's the best way to deal with Bwin?

    Many thanks in advance

Incuboy, when you called, did they confirm that they would pay your balance (including any winnings from Sunday)?

A common BWin problem is multiple account registration from the same IP address: is it possible that someone else could have registered from the same location (internet cafe, dorm rooms, work place, etc.)?

Moonbeam is right that one of the mods here, Justin, seems to have a good working relationship with them, so if they didn't confirm that they'll pay you your funds, you might want to fill out the SBR complaint form for help with this. BWin can take a day or so to reply to e-mail, so you might want to wait for that first in case it's easily remedied, or wait till after Sunday so you know how much you're owed, before filling out the form.

          Hi AimingHigh,

thanks for your response, there's no chance of multiple account registrations it was all done at home and I haven't registered with them before. I've absolutely no idea why they've disabled my account after placing only one bet, when I called they gave me no info at all but i'll call again in the morning to ask them specifically if the bet still stands or if they are refunding all my money. I am absolutely gobsmacked that they've done this to me and i've got funds in the account which I can't access so i'm quite anxious to resolve this before the F1 race on Sunday.

Thanks for your help, it's really appreciated, i'll update tomorrow about how I get on when I phone, hopefully it won't need to go to a complaint but it's good to know that there's a process to do so if needed.

I've had a lot of success talking to Bwin. I'm sure they will handle this fairly (as they do the others).

No I never registered with anyone else, quite new to the online betting, I just received an email yesterday saying that Bwin cancelled my account for'security reasons' and they did not take my money from my account. still none the wiser, really disappointed with the stress they put me thru of being unable to access my funds for a few days, over £400, still it's back now in my account thankfully, i won't be using them again!

                    So your account is reopened?
Prepare yourself for the ID-process if you want to withdraw...

Or did you send ID already?
