    GTBets account notice
Upon logging in, I see this notice:

"Due to changes in regulation, we unfortunately no longer accept players from your state. Going forward, you will unfortunately be unable to make deposits into this account, however you will have the ability to play-out or withdraw your available balance."

Anyone see this too? I struggle to understand to what regulations they refer.

Aren't they in the Caribbean? Thought i read once they operate in states that don't have legal betting means. Maybe your state has recently gone legal, who knows.

The Company does not accept signups from any region, including from the USA. The Company reserves the right to bock Players from any jurisdiction.

I see this line in their Terms and Conditions. Never noticed this before. Maybe it's new?

says it was updated April 2023 so not that new but very strange wording. My account still works although I haven’t deposited in a while. The “withdrawal fee” didn’t sit well with me, they skimmed a good $200 off the withdrawal amount and blamed BTC price fluctuation. If I log out and click new signup it says new signups aren’t allowed from my region. Who knows what they are doing.

GTBets follows strict rules not to service residents in regulated state jurisdictions in which it's legal for sports wagering/casino. Really nothing to fear about not being paid etc. You will still continue to receive advertisements even when you're in a state that's "regulated" from them. Yes, very annoying... but there's a lot of states that are restricted now.

My state has legal books now but they haven't restricted or banned my account. At least not of as yet.

I was told that accounts with zero lifetime deposits are disabled. Also, those who do not meet the minimum lifetime deposit threshold (which we are still figuring out), will also be disabled.

I was not told my account was disabled because of the state I live in. Oh well, better options. They do offer nice lines for some sports.

I got the message too that deposits are now disabled. I live in a state that does -not- have legal wagering. I've deposited (and got paid out) a very high amount over the years. My limits are so low there now that this doesn't affect me much

Before I deposit or reup with any book... I always contact customer service just to see how things are going. Once they check your address on file and it matches a regulated state that has online gaming/sports etc... they will not accept deposits from you. I don't necessarily know if they in fact "close your account"... I never cared to log in after I was told that I lived in a state that's on their "restricted list".

Texas. No "legal" wagering, so I am confused at to what "regulation" they refer.

                              That's an interesting one.

Not sure. Maybe someone in control of BTbets comes from Texas or has interests there they dont want to put at risk.

Or maybe it's just a line from CS...

There's more to this story because this regulation came shortly after they were aggressively offering bonuses in states that are now "regulated". Anyone got any payout recently from them?

Just saw in their updated T&C that no signups from USA are allowed in general.
