I’m the middle of me clearing a free play bonus rollover, Betonline changed the rules
I could normally play poker even after my last deposit but in the middle of it, they have changed the rules to not allow me to play poker when I have a rollover. I never would have deposited had this been the rule at the time. How are they allowed to do this, making it way harder for me to clear a bonus? I wouldn’t have a problem had it been a new deposit but it’s like changing the rules of an agreement after the fact.

I deposited knowing I could play poker with that money but they changed it suddenly, making it way harder for any bonus to clear, this is really terrible

Where can I take this issue so that betonline’s grade can be lowered?

Update: chatting and saying they can make any change to terms and conditions at any time without notification and me arguing after them saying they can’t do anything they made an exception for me after I said how horrible shady it was and was going to make posts and such

Can you explain how them not allowing you to play poker there makes it harder for you to clear a sports related bonus rollover?

The reason they have started doing this is because people were probably dumping chips to avoid rollover. They're not the first site to not allow you to transfer a balance to the poker room when the balance is stuck in rollover. But the fact that you somehow claim that not being allowed to transfer chips to the poker room makes clearing rollover (poker doesnt clear rollover) harder on you simply doesn't make any sense.

Thats what I thought as well. You could deposit $500 for a $250 freeplay for example, lose the $500 at poker then spend the $250 freeplay for a chance to get $250 back for poker again. If you are a bad poker player lol at least you're getting an extra $250 to play poker with each time if you won your sports bet. I can also see the dumping being an issue, you could run a freeplay up big then just lose it to a friend at poker.

Not good to change the terms and conditions after a deposit has already been made though.

I didn't know any major site would let you use bonus funds for poker.

Too many people use online poker to bypass rules.

Did you happen to lose a bunch of the bonus winnings to a poker player last time you did this?

That makes sense as to why they do it, thank you.

I realize poker play does not count towards the rollover. The reason it makes it harder for me and why I would never use a bonus if I wouldn’t be able to use it for poker is because I’m not a big sports bettor, mainly only wrestling and racing and casually on football sometimes. And wrestling is almost useless for a rollover since the limits are so low. I would use poker MTT winnings and have before to make bigger sports bets I normally wouldn’t make without having a rollover to clear, most likely on football and racing to clear it.

ya that was my gripe that the changed it after the fact which I think would have been absolutely horrible if they hadn’t made the exception for me. But I get now why they changed the rule.

Hey Opti, I was only playing tourneys and sit n gos so didn’t lose big amounts to any one player. They gave me an exception to the rule but I didn’t appreciate how much I had to argue cause it seems very bad faith to change such a huge thing after I already deposited.
