Absolutely tasteless promotion email from Fanduel
Got a random email from Fanduel, with the subject of " Important - check your account balance".

Obviously very concerning. Not normally a positive email to get. Expected a "we got hacked or a server got wrecked, we think everything is fine but please make sure it is".

Body of email "As of midnight last night, you still have $xxx in your account... why not come back and play your favorite Casino games"

It seems like a little thing to get mad about, but I was pretty heated over this email. Who on earth thinks this a good way to market an online casino. Would expect this from some c rated offshore, but this is scummy on a whole new level.

Dropped my opinion of fanduel down a number of pegs.

Did it work? I don’t see it as a promotion more like a reminder that you still have funds in your account to lose so they can send the deposit bonus emails.

      Correct. That is tasteless.
Furthermore, anybody who plays online casino games should have their head examined.
Can't count cards and have +EV online.

Depends what you mean by work.

          I opened the email.

Never played an online casino. Doubt i ever will.

Was considering topping off the fandual account for baseball. Less likely to do so now.

            Why?

Nah, I'd rather let them save the millions so I can win it.

Fanduel makes so much rake god bless them. They know how to attract and reel in the stupidest of customers. But at least they let the smart ones take a share. So I don't have too many bad words for them.

I know NV doesn't have FD, so have you not played them?

Not my top volume, but definitely in top 3. My live bet delay is an issue.

Knock on wood, it doesn't seem that FD will limit any further than they already have. They don't impose joke limits ala Rivers, Barstool, Draftkings.

Have you used BetMGM in Illinois yet? So far, they've been amazing to me. I almost can't believe it and probably shouldn't utter this out loud lol. 2/3 of the way to Platinum in a month.

Tremendous, no not yet played with them in Illinois............obviously Illinois residents have a huge advantage over someone in Nevada using Illinois shops.

MGM here is decent, use them often.

William Hill and Circa leading the pack here........whomever sits at #3 trailing both significantly.

William Hill is interesting. I believe we in IL had that Will Hill here until a month ago when it rebranded fully to the usual Caesar's. I thought that would be a bad thing, but mostly it's been a good thing.

I want Circa here in IL so bad. Fingers crossed.

Circa is sharp and they aren't afraid to take big bets and allow winners. Can't wait until they come to the East Coast.

Report the corporate fuks to the authorities. These online casino games are not legitimate. The RNG is missing plenty of the big winner "numbers". They can be added at anytime to the number profile. If u play slots online and notice your getting the same icon position on multiple spins that do not produce a win, that "number" has replaced the one(s) that have been removed.
I noticed this on FanDuel Ontario. They have been reported to the AGCO. Unfortunately that complaint will go nowhere.

Hope CIRCA comes to NJ soon as well. We have superbook, which is spreading dime lines in MLB, also in KBO and NPB which is nice.

Wynnbet remains one of my more favorites. Started in with -108 juice on NBA sides and totals, also dimelines in MLB.

                                Also a fan of Betmgm.

The MGM app here in Nevada does not provide anything in terms of comps or tier advancement with their MLife card............they do provide a couple drink tickets when depositing or withdrawing, lol.

Stations $2 food comp per 1k bet(for seniors), $1 otherwise,,,,,,,,,these are nice because of the many food options at various Station properties.

Circa 30 cent food comp per 1k wagered.

Weird that it's different out of state. They bet BetMGM Rewards Points and Tier Credits. Looks like 4,000 points (~$20k) is $50 redeemable. 25 cents per hundred wagered. Doesn't seem like much, but it adds up.

Yes, seems strange why they would do that.

Last year, they did however add $100 to my account two different times out of nowhere...........nothing this year yet.

Interesting. Well I'm barely over a month in. Playing almost exclusively live hoops and thrashing them. Not a hint of limiting, yet.

Nascar wow. Everyone's got their thing.

Wynnbet remains one of my more favorites. Started in with -108 juice on NBA sides and totals, also dimelines in MLB.

Yes, I was also pleasantly surprised by Wynnbet's baseball straddles. Let's see it if lasts.
They also extend their "happy hours" more than the hour they advertise.
I like their live betting....sometimes as quick as five seconds, other times eight seconds or more, though.

DK's live betting delay wasn't all that bad, until they showed me the door.
The worst I can recall was when William Hill opened in New Jersey a few years ago. Put me on a 30-second delay. Then booted me. The interesting thing there though is that they are now run by Caesars, and back to a reasonable delay. (I consider seven seconds to be reasonable.)
I still LONG for the days of Heritage and 5dimes software, where the live-bets went through INSTANTLY. (No delay at all)
If anybody knows an offshore like that, please let me know, and I'll send you some of the best steaks for free!

Don't know if you've used Foxbet, but I'm kind of liking them as well. They tend to have a lot of NBA games they price as 100/-118, so if you like the side, you get a +100 when its all -110 elsewhere.

A circa would make everything complete.
