Deposited BTC but never confirmed & never sent but still processed by Bovada
This is the second time in the row that this has happened to me and checking if anyone experience this too. I will make weekly deposit via BTC to Bovada. Use to do with CashApp but they closed my account. Anyway, started doing it with Blockchain but the last couple of transactions have resulted in unconfirmed deposits.

On Monday I sent appx $400+ btc from Blockchain to Bovada. Before I do that I will buy $500 BTC on Blockchain then send to private wallet in Blockchain. BC will say it's completed and BTC is available. So I then send the remaining about minus the fee which is appx $400+ to Bovada. Both times Bovada w/in seconds process the deposit and money is available in my account.

Then a few hours later BC will show that $400+ available still in my private wallet as if I never sent the BTC. First time this happened, Bovada has it unconfirmed for 3 days showing on Blockchain and eventually deducted the unconfirmed amount in my account.

The second time Bovada doesn't even have anything showing the transaction on Blockchain. I'm waiting for them to finish their investigation but most likely they'll deduct that unconfirmed amount from my account which they should. But I'm puzzled on how this keeps occurring with Blockchain.

Be careful as it could be a sync issue with your wallet and actually sent. Check the trans on one of the btc transaction sites which show confirmations. Also could be your sending unconfirmed btc or sending with 1 penny fee but with miner fees low and no network congestion that would still probably confirm in a day

Ok, thanks. I’ll check it out.

So what finally happened with the first transaction after Bovada deducted it from your account? Did you get the BTC back or is it still unconfirmed? I migrated away from blockchain.com after using them for many years. They were the best in the beginning but IMO everything about them continues to decline. Support sucks but that’s par for the course for all of them, my wallet would get dusting attacks from time to time and there’s nothing you can do with their wallet and their security relies too much on SMS 2FA. I have a ticket in with their support to close my account because it was compromised and I haven’t heard back, it’ll probably take them a week or more to reply, if I even get that.
