I made a live 1st half bet with Bookmaker on an NBA total. Bookmaker regularly offers live totals where the total is slanted a couple points in 1 direction and the juice is adjusted accordingly. I got a +255 line on a total and bet it. Once the first half was completed and the bet won, they voided the wager citing "wrong line". However the line was clearly an adjusted total and they offer these sorts of lines regularly in live betting.
I have bet these adjusted totals in NBA 1h earlier in the week where I got one side of a total at +158 as well as another +202 which was even higher juice than the +255. The difference being these 2 bets were losses therefore accepted.
When I brought up the situation in chat they didn't even bother looking at the games earlier in the week saying they had nothing to do with current game, when in reality the bets earlier in the week show that these lines are offered regularly in NBA and therefore no reason to void the current bet when the bets earlier in the week which had a similar situation with the adjusted total and heavier juice were accepted and graded with no issues. There was no "clear line error" nor was the juice offered any different than what they usually offer, which is why I pointed out the bets earlier in the week.
I'm sure someone will ask about this, the reason the lines that were offered were +202 and +255 is because the book adjusts the total one way 2-3 points. For example instead of offering o/u 101 -110 the live line will be something like 103.5 with the under being heavily juiced hence the better price on the over.
