    Bookmaker.eu Check Users Question?
They've sent two withdrawals to my old house....despite me following their CS reps directions....and confirming my new address. Now they say that I need to pay $250 to have this last check canceled.

I don't think they are intentionally f***ing with me....but there's clearly some problems on their end. And blaming me for it is extremely irritating.

To be fair, they reversed the charge the first time this happened and say they explained that although you had changed your home address for the account, you also needed to alter it yourself as the postal address when confirming your check withdraw when it happened that time.

They say after that you requested another check and confirmed your old address for it to be sent to again,

I have never made a check withdraw there. Is confirming the postal address part of that process as they told SBR?

If so it's tough to argue that second charge with them

They reversed the charge the first time. Yes. But I made sure to once again confirm that they had the correct address for me in the system. I don't know why they have outdated information for me with payouts....but it's a major FLAW on their end. If you go onto their site and go to "Cashier".....they have a place to update your personal information. There is nowhere to change your "postal address" too.

Here's their withdrawal request page. Name. State. Country. THAT'S IT.

So they've been lying to me about confirming my address. I've done that multiple times through customer service. They see my updated address. But yeah....$250 to cancel the check is just another kick in the crotch. It costs upwards of $50 MAX to cancel a check.

Making a mistake....and then trying to gouge me on fees ($50 for the check and $250 for a cancelation) is just a complete joke. On the other hand....I received a wire from GTBets after requesting a payout after about three days.

As I said....I am going to try and get some chargebacks from my CC company on deposits I've made to BookMaker....and then I'm going to let that account go dark. It would be foolish to continue trying to use that site when all I can do is deposit and never withdraw.

Either way....I still appreciate you trying to help.

Any other BM check withdraw users please tell me if there is a screen to enter/confirm the postal address as part of the request process there?

I have never withdrawn via check at Bookmaker, but based on what I see in the cashier, I have a suspicion about what is going wrong here. Since I haven't requested a check yet, the "Select your account" drop down we see in stocker's screen shot defaults to "Add a new account" and a form displays asking to verify my address info. Why should I need to create an account if Bookmaker already has my account information? I'm guessing because it's a 3rd party check processor with their own system and their own separate database.

My hunch is that if stocker08 clicks on that "Select your account" drop down, it will provide an option to "Add a new account". Stocker has been verifying his address with Bookmaker, but not the 3rd party processor. To do this, I'm guessing that he would need to add a new account with the correct address info. What we see here is what gets sent to the processor.

Again, this is just a hunch based on what I'm seeing. Maybe stocker or another check user can confirm this.

If my hunch is true, I think it's pretty unfair for them to expect customers to know they have to do this, especially when they've already had one check voided and specifically contacted Bookmaker to try to clear up the issue. It seems even crazier to me that there have now been 2 voided checks and no one has thought to explain to him how this process works. He's being set up to have it fail a 3rd time.

Edit: Adding screen shot to illustrate what I'm talking about. You'll see the "Select your account" drop down field is common between my image and stocker's.

Yes....it would seem that this would have likely fixed the issue. But on the drop down....there is an account showing my name, state, and country. Since I verified with a customer service rep that my address had been updated.....I guess I figured that it had been taken care of. They really should have better clarification on this. Not to mention....their reps should know if this is an issue and tell people. Especially after the first check had been canceled.

Thanks for helping sort out what they were trying to say guys.

I can see how easily that would be to miss Stocker. Will pass this info on.
