My documents are 100% legit and up to date... there was absolutely nothing wrong with my bets. I can’t understand why is there no back and forth normal conversation - it’s like a one way street with them. They demand to send them stuff and then nothing happens. Thank you for the update. I wish Bovada gave me an update on what to do. I still have not received any answer about my documents and what is the next step to get this resolved. It’s a lot of money for me and I feel hostage in this situation... can’t believe this happenedComment -

I was expecting a possible battle to get my first withdrawal with Bovada after seeing so many negative Bovada threads however I luckily got my payout without having to submit any documents whatsoever so that surprised me. I even took advantage of their first time deposit bonus. I just received the FedEx Package with Check today.Comment -

Bovada isn't having any complaints about checks not clearing, the complaints are mainly based on approving withdrawals. I have been getting checks for years from reputable sportsbooks without ever having one bounce yet, (knock on wood). Also, I do use bitcoin in many instances however I prefer a check in some cases when they are free payouts so I don't lose any money with the bitcoin conversion process. If I request $3K for example, I know with a check that I will actually receive the full $3K.
The check is my preference in many cases and I don't mind the wait. I wish Neteller was still available to US. That sure was nice.

Last time I went the check route (US resident) it took 5 weeks to clear.
I think some books have one free check payout per month, but the customer must pay the Fed Ex charges. (maybe 20 or 30 bucks for a next day air)

Bovada and BAS, for example, don't have any Fed Ex Charges for their free payout. If you withdrawal, for example $3K , you will get a check for $3K and that $3K is the only money removed from your account balance. There is no other nickel and diming that takes place. Other books may have fees however if you are charged for Fed Ex charges, etc. , it technically is NOT a free payout .Comment -
Bovada and BAS (5 Dimes) checks are just fine, never had a problem with them clearing--typically next day. BAS gives one free check every 30 days, Bovada is 90 days. BAS checks arrive in 2-3 days, and Bovada in 2-3 weeks from my experience.Last edited by HedgeHog; 12-05-20, 09:02 PM.Comment -
I had a check that wouldn't process from 5dimes a year ago. 5dimes actually asked me to ask the bank manager to write a letter asking why they wouldn't process it, I was like WTF. I tried, got the look and they refused but did they did the routing # was wrong. I had to send the check back and lost $90 sending it back via fedex international 2 day shipping.Comment -
It happens occasionally when the payment processor loses or changes their bank account.
But it's usually just an over-zealous bank teller or branch manager. Often people just go to another branch or use the ATM to deposit and it is accepted.
If the book is asking the bank manager why, they must think it's not a sending account problem..Comment -

I don't think so at this point. There are maybe 3 or 4 or 5 complaints that may have some validity however there could be thousands of happy players that are not complaining. I agree , there should be some answers on these cases though but vast majority of players are being paid extremely quickly so these cases must have some type of suspicious activity that Bovada must not feel comfortable with.
The question will probably be whether the suspicious activity will actually warrant a non payment. Anotherwards can the suspicious activity be proven as illegal or against Bovada rules so to speak. Hopefully we can find out what the final decisions are on these cases.Comment -
