    Sportsbook.com???
Hey guys...I know there has been a lot of criticism for sportsbook.com but I have used them in the past cashed out by check a couple times and received them in about 2 weeks. Just wondering how come it is rated so low and why people dislike it so much? Its one of the only sites that will take my credit card :-/. Any other better options that accept most credit cards? Thanks in advance!

They had HUGE processing errors and have stolen 100's of thousands over the years in confiscations. I used them back in neteller days but not for quite some time, I personally would not wait two weeks for a check either if I want funds I expect them to me in 24-96 hrs max, I'd get a prepaidreloadable ******** card online fill that up and use that at a top notch site like betjam, greek, legendz etc

people on here are living in some sort of fantasy land and not taking full advantage of this book. They stole from players that corolated parlays (which is now not possible) for playing over the limit and for bonus abuse. Just be careful don't abuse the bonus and play over the limit and you should be fine.

They may take from you again...I guess its possible so just watch your self. Deposit with credit cards and don't let your balance get to hard.

Payment is quicker here then A rated books so not sure what anyone is talking about....use my wallet you put in at 11pm and you get next day around 6 pm so about 19 hours.

In the past there were issues with processors that could happen at any time to ANY online book.

They are much better at this time then there D rating at least a B. But that could change at any time just be smart about your account and I bet you have ZERO issue.

Sportsbook.com encouraged me to open accounts at several of their sites so I could deposit more than $2K per day. Competing against yourself is a well-worn marketing tactic and plays into the gambler's mentality of "changing your luck". They never said not to bet the same lines, which I didn't anyway on 99% of my handle. I couldn't have cared less about any bonuses, which are automatically added.

I had an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime rush betting baseball in 2007, ran up a six-figure balance and Sportsbook.com stole it outright. They are thieves. Their business model is beat 98%, pay 1% and stiff the real winners.

If people were smart they would take there free money and shut the f' up. Again stop focusing on negitives and take advantage of that place its a mess and if you have a brain you can work it to your advantage instead of working it against it.

Good luck to all open up your eyes and maybe instead of losing week in and week out you can actually make money.

Sportsbook.com has a history of stealing money from winning players. Be careful.

How much do you have to win to get cut back? Because I've won quite a lot from them.

Everyones making fun of the retard here. Picking on a tabloid celebrety.

RICKY STEVE, I THINK SPORTSBOOK'S JUST RAN BY A FEW SLIMY DUDES IN SAN JOSE. THERE OFFICE IS IN THE OASA PLANT IN SJ'S INDUSTRIAL AREA, BUT IT'S GATED, YOU CAN'T JUST WALK IN. I KNOW SOME NAMES OF THEIR UPPER MANAGERS, BUT I AIN'T A SNITCH. RULE 1 I WAS TAUGHT.

THERE'S NO WAY THEY HAVE YOUR $100,000. BUT MAYBE THEY COULD GET IT.

BUT FROM MY JUDGEMENT WHICH IS PRETTY GOOD, I DOUBT YOU RAN UP A SIX FIGURE BALANCE. IT SOUNDS FROM YOUR QUIP THAT YOU'RE JUST THROWING OUT HUGE NUMBERS. BUT I DON'T BELIEVE MUCH OF THESE POSTS, USUALLY.

THEY SHUT ME OFF SUDDENLY AFTER ABOUT A HUNDRED DOLLAR PROFIT.

OBVIOUSLY I BET SMALL. ONLINE WITH THIS BOOK.

I WAS GONNA SEE IF THEY PAY. THEY PAID $50 THEY PAID $80, THEN I HIT EM FOR $200, AND THEY CLOSED THE BAR. BLINKIN LIGHTS. PALMS CROSSING.

NOT TO BRAG, BUT I HAVE A PRETTY CONSISTENT 67%-75% WINNING RATE AND I HIT PARLAYS A LOT. SO THEY BACKED OUT.

SO THAT'S HOW IT WORKS, IF YOU GUYS THINK YOU CAN WIN ONLINE. I GUESS.
THE THING IS, SOME OF THE OTHER BOOKS ARE PROBABLY JUST AS BAD, BUT YOU WON'T READ ABOUT IT HERE, CUZ THOSE BOOKS SPONSOR THIS SITE.

BUT YEAH, YOU LOSE, OR IF YOUR GOOD, THEY CUT YOU OFF, SO THERE'S NO REAL WAY TO MAKE MONEY HERE.

what is incoherent? My slang? Well go ask your mom what i'm talking about.

Mattman, probably is an actual person telling the truth here. That sucks they just ganked your 500 bucks or what?

I got all my money out, except for my futures bets, which were all stolen.

Like i said they are in the oasa plant in san jose, costa rica, when your down there.

The thing is, this forum bashes on oddsmaker and sportsbook, but i'm not convinced they other books are much better, seeing how they don't even take deposits.

This forum is still entertaining though.

                                        Gelatinous Cube and Mattman,

Can you guys explain what happened? I mean you are subtly making claims of theft, but don't seem too concerned about it.

I was hesitant as well but gave them a shot a few weeks back. I got hot and requested a payout via bankwire for 3,000....requested on Monday...they asked me to fax a few things on Tuesday, and the money was in my bank account by Friday morning.......just as quick as thegreek.

I was very impressed, especially since this was my first payout and i had deposited with credit card..

noob here, but I've had an account there for about 3 years, dating back to the previous management. While the payouts haven't always been that fast, they've always come through for me. I cashed out 125 about 10 days ago and got a check in 4 days. Last week I hit a 6 way football parlay that paid 400 and requested the payout. They took it upon themselves to issue me a debit card this time around, which doesn't thrill me, but money is money, and I suppose there isn't a paper trail this way either. So I'll keep y'all updated.

I'm not saying people haven't had problems with them or that it's the greatest site in the world, but they've always done me right.

Anyhow, nice to "meet" all of you, and I like the site.

I admit they use to be more then crappy because they had errors in their payouts... thats all old news folks.

What I meant was that I never provided my banking info or personal info besides name, address, etc.

I remember before I discovered this watchdog site and the negative things said about sportsbook.com....the panic that struck me when I thought that Sportsbook.com would cheat me out of my money...

I had turned 150 into 1500, (thanks to College Basketball).

I was only thinking to myself, "how fu*king stupid was I to sign up with this site?"

The customer service gave me the annoying run around with the whole "ID and utility bill" process.

At first their fax was "blurry", they needed "another copy of my info."

But after a couple weeks of this, they finally processed my request and I received my check within 10 days.

I deposited it, and I didn't touch the funds...fearing that the check would bounce...

                                                                well...it has been damn near 5 or 6 months...it didn't bounce....

I would give Sportsbook.com a B+, judging from personal experience.

Sportsbook.com is not without risk, given their history. You won't get good customer service, and they've shown a willingness to pounce on certain things including confiscating funds. However in my opinion, they are worth the risk, but you need to play it smart. Do NOT open multiple accounts on their sister sites, or have any IP or other contact with other sportsbook.com players, and don't keep more money there than you need to in order to operate. I'd also avoid trying to extract too much out of their bonuses.

its like that with all sportsbooks.... my biggest issue book comes from bookmaker.com..its the same exact problems you had, but worst they dont even pay out period. You have to chase them all around the world for a little money (luckily I didnt play big)... but sportsbook.com always pays me out quick, it varies from website to website as to which book is good. Other forums recommend sportsbook.com and never have issues...people here always claim they have issues...so its really your own judgement. but for me, theyve been excellent when it came down to my payouts. I hardly mess with their bonuses either, so that can be a difference.
