    BetOnline Issues
I already filed a complaint with SBR but posting here to see if I can get better answers.

I’ve had a BOL account for about 5-6 years but started using it again in the past few weeks. Did really well and had 4 withdrawals. I was able to log in this morning around 7am Eastern and then tried logging in at 1pm Eastern and it said my password was invalid which is strange since my iPhone always remembers my password. I tried to reset it but didn’t get a link so I contacted support. Basically support told me they would help and then said my account was under review. When I asked why it was under review she said she could not give me details.

It’s one thing to review an account but to change the password without any statement and then pretend like nothing happened is absurd to me as a supposed top tier book. This seems extremely unprofessional and shady. On top of that they wouldn’t give me details which seems absurd.

The only thing I could think of is that when I tired to make my 4th withdrawal they said they detected log ins from 2 different states. I told them I travel a lot for work and I stay in a hotel during the week and come back home on the weekends. The email also said this wasn’t breaking any rules so I didn’t think it mattered. When I went to withdraw again it worked. All of this just seems like horrible communication from BOL and I’m not sure what to do since they are not giving me answers. If this has happened to anyone else I’d like to know. I’ve used this site years apart and it’s the same thing with them. Shady and extremely terrible customer support.

Doesn't sounds like you have a ton of experience with offshore books. BOL is one of the best. Books do a lot shadier things. They just thought someone hacked your account and were being careful not to send your money to a hacker.
Not sure what you want SBR to do. Sounds like it's resolved.

A 6 year dormant account suddenly turns up again and wins.

They will just be checking it's really you and not an account you bought/sold to someone wanting double limits or something like that.

No need to worry if it's just you betting again.

Okay I was hoping to hear something like this. I actually haven't used BOL since my last issue here years ago. The only weird thing is how they have not emailed me at all regarding an investigation taking place and instead changed my password. I understand now. Thanks

It's normal these days at pretty much any book for security to sometimes lock an account without saying anything whilst they check stuff. It does not suggest you have a big problem.

I'd suggest using email instead of live chat for questions too. Takes longer but you get 2nd level CS people who can actually find out whats going on before answering.

Just wanted to give an update. Optional was 100% correct. It was a security measure being taken by BOL to make sure I wasn’t multi accounting or being hacked. I appreciate the help here and apologize to BOL for saying they were shady. Thanks again!
