    Need Help with Bovada deposit
I will do my best to make a long story short. On June 6th I made a deposit to my Bovada account of $218.37. As soon as I made the deposit I realized I had Sent my deposit (Bitcoin Cash) to a Bitcoin address from Bovada. Immediately I emailed Bovada to let them know of the error and provided all information from my wallet regarding the transaction (on June 7th).

At first I was told I would need to work with my wallet (aka coinbase) to fix the error. Coinbase quickly told me there was nothing they could do, the money, if not accepted, would be returned Within 30 days but that was it and that window has come and gone months ago.

My “case” was escalated to the payments team on June 10th and that is the last time I was provided an update from Bovada regarding the deposit. Every time I inquire, I’m told there is no update and they will reach out when there is one. It’s been 3 months. I’ve been very patient because I know the initial mistake was my own, but 90 days seems more than adequate to correctly route the deposit. I’m a very small time player/bettor so I believe this is the largest factor in timing.

I appreciate any advice or help on this issue.

    Thank you

You might be able to fill out a form with SBR and they can investigate on your behalf. I'm not sure who that would go to nowadays though.

I'm confused here "90 days seems more than adequate to correctly route the deposit" - did someone suggest to you that once you send payment to the wrong crypto wallet it could somehow be routed?

My understanding from the limited messages with Bovada, is that the deposit would eventually be credited to my Bovada account.

The heart of the error is that I sent bitcoin cash to Bovada’s bitcoin address. Either way, it was sent to Bovada.

That sounds like a good start, thanks! Maybe a moderator can point me in the right direction

Thanks - I’m just looking for the deposit to show up in my Bovada account.

Would you mind posting the wallet address you sent to?

As far as I am aware an address starting with a p or a q are BitcoinCash Addresses, not Bitcoin.

What made you think that is a normal Bitcoin address?

I made two consecutive transfers from my wallet that day. The first one from my bitcoin wallet and the second one from my bitcoin cash wallet. The transfer from my bitcoin wallet went through within a minute or two. When I made my bitcoin cash transfer I accidentally selected “bitcoin” on Bovada’s site. I copied the address listed and sent there.

Would you please post the address you think is the Bovada BTC wallet address you sent BCH to?

As this one, pz0jazyk506fen0f9zt6cmsageqrt3l8a58t5lec lx, is not it.
