It seems to me that limiting their play to very low limits would be better than closing the account. Over time the book could value from your betting opinions.

Guessing it's because they aren't well funded with very few players

That's why the larger books do exactly what you say - limit winners and use their action to refine the odds. Even smaller offshore books do this too, in my experience. Which books kick out winners completely? I don't doubt there are some, but I would think they are the extreme minority.

Bet365 is the worst offender and they have more money than anybody.

That's dangerous as they give sharps the chance to manipulate odds with very low stakes and then bet the other side with unrestricted accounts.

Heritage is very quick to limit winners, and once they do that they share that info with other books who will 86 the people on the list. I know for a fact they share it with wager web and the ABC Islands group. I think, but I'm not 100%, that they share it with the Bet33 group.
This was accurate 3 years ago, anyway. It could have changed.

It would be interesting to know the average number or a range number of regular players at the offshores as a group. But, that might be difficult since football season would impact the figure as lots of those are one sport customers.

And yet that’s what most of them do.

As far as US offshore books are concerned, yes, absolutely. Do you think otherwise?

I have no idea TBH. Most of the EU books are copycats that copy the odds from reference books like b365 regardless of any player's action.

FWIW, the Heritage account at SBR disputed my above post, claiming only to share info with wager web. Somehow the other books got my personal info from Heritage... I know this because I had never gotten heat from another book besides Heritage up to that point.

The much, much shorter list would be which books DON’T kick out winners...

It's not possible that ABC could have independently come to their own determination on the matter?

Depends on how you define "kicking out".
It's true that most of the books rather limit players to pennies than closing their accounts.

Correct. It is not possible that ABC came to that conclusion on their own. They wouldn't let me open an account there. They had my name, email that I used with Heritage, address and phone number.
They said I wasn't allowed to open an account because I was a winning bettor. The only book that had come to that conclusion was Heritage.

I think it's because most just play the soft line against pinnacle and it doesn't take any kind of genius or super hi tech to do that. I think very few originators in the world

Okay, thanks for the clarification. That makes sense.
Did you previously have accounts at LooseLines, JazzSports, or BetOdds? Maybe they figured out what kind of bettor you were through their own family, even if they hadn't limited you yet (to your knowledge). I'm not looking for excuses for Heritage. I just find it strange that a book would share sharp play info with others - I've never seen any evidence of that before your post.

Nope. I never had an account with the ABC book. Heritage denies that they share this info with them, so assuming Heritage is telling the truth someone either hacked or stole their database of +EV bettors.
