It's WAY too easy to get a live wager you didn't want on Bookmaker now!
You click in the line you want, type in the amount, and go to click and just as your clicking it changes to a different line and you get that line rather then the one you wanted. This system is horeshit. At every other book, if the line changes before you click it then the ticket doesn't update, your bet just gets rejected. The only exception is if you click accept a favorable change.

Bookmaker needs to change it so the line on the ticket does NOT update, it should be whatever you clicked on only.
I got a full point worse on a line, during a commercial, because of this.

    Hey, RonPaul

    I share your frustration!

I created a thread about this a couple months ago and opened a complaint.

I went to bet on a simulation game live wager on the Jets moneyline -140. At the time of my bet, it was the 3rd quarter and the Jets were beating the Patriots by 8 and the Jets had the ball around their own 20. Being a Jets fan and wanting action, I attempted to place a risk $70 to win $50.

I put 50 in the win box and then the bet slip loads 70 to win 50. Then my thumb goes to click submit and the line changes to a whopping -650 making me risk 325 instead of 70. My thumb couldn’t stop in time and the bet was placed. This was obviously a bad line!

I immediately tried to call customer service numerous times but then realized no phone lines are on due to COVID-19 and chat takes extremely too long to not only verify yourself, but then to explain the problem. It was already late in the 4th now before I could even get an operator on chat and at the same time the game was now tied. At this time, I saw the moneyline was still -650 and the Pats were +7 on the spread. I placed a Patriots bet to offset my Jets bet to be able to prove they were both bad lines/glitches.

Patriots go on to win and Wouldn’t you know they Canceled the Pats bet but kept the Jets bet. I argued my case with them and spoke to numerous reps only to get the standard “the bet was graded correctly and stands”

Being a long time customer with zero complaints ever, I’m extremely frustrated and mad. First of all, this was an obvious bad line and possibly a glitch. Secondly, when a wager is in the bet slip the line should not be allowed to change and if it does, it should be rejected! How is someone supposed to stop themselves from clicking when thumb is being pressed.

So it doesn’t matter what you have checked off as far as “do not accept line changes” because if the line changes while in your bet slip and before you click submit, it technically didn’t change. In my case, the line changes from -140 to -650 AFTER it was in my bet slip and while I was clicking submit.

Ive recommended that this be looked into but has fallen on deaf ears at Bookmaker. The only way we get change is if we have enough complaints.

Hopefully Bookmaker will do the right thing and get this corrected.

SBR needs to get a comment from Bookmaker on this.

Holy Shit, this isn't only an in-game phenomenon. This happened to me pregame now. I was told by an agent that this is how the system operates, it is normal. There is no other book that does this and I have used many.

This is total Bullshit, totally unfair, and totally unethical. This needs to be changed!
If you want to offer a dynamic betslip, then make it an option you can select or deselect.

How on earth is one to be confident when hitting 'place bet' that the line they get will be the one they were trying to bet?

Do I need to file a complaint with SBR?

You don't see these options for pre-game bets?

RonPaul2008, are you talking about odds changing a milli second before you actually press place bet (but it's so late that you don't have time to stop your motion so you hit place bet anyway), or odds changes that take place after you've hit place bet?

I do see those option and I have never changed it from do not accept any changes. I believe do not accept any line changes is just if it changes after you hit submit, which would only matter if you had a delay.

I'm talking about the odds changing less then a second before hitting place bet.

I have to agree, their new system is garbage. The old wasn't great either, but at least stuff like this couldn't happen.

I had issues at heritage with this. Will select accept no odd change. And then a random bet will go through at better odds, check settings and accept better odds is selected. I change it back to accept no odd changes and then randomly the settings will change again.
Don’t understand how my settings are being randomly changed.

Heritage hasn’t been able to provide a solution to me on why my settings are changing.

Seems like a similar issue at bookmaker.

What was it like before? Anytime odds changed from the time you put it on betting slip it would reject the bet and you had to go back and add the updated odds?

yes, if you clicked something at +154 it wouldn't just change it in the bet slip to +110

other sites like betonline won't let the bet go through, at bookmaker though you can easily click it at the same time they are moving the line against you, and get stuck with a way worse line
