Yeah, the story isn't quite as simple as some are trying to make it. Sure, no book is going to pay a player TWICE. But the only reason HRWager and the customer are in this situation to begin with is because HRWager had a falling out with it's partner sportsbook. If that hadn't happened, none of this would have been an issue. So paying the customer in this situation is certainly understandable.Comment -
I need to apologize because it looks like I wasn't shorted after all. The package went to my parents' address, since I travel 365 days a year, and use theirs to receive my mail. I would never have asked them to count all that money, in fact I told them not to, but they did it anyway. They told me yesterday there were around 300 singles, not 400. They let me know today it was actually the full amount, so I really am sorry for making the misleading comments about that.
People are entitled to their opinions, but I've been completely honest about everything in this thread, unlike HRWager. I never once told them I forgot to pick up the **, that is a complete fabrication on their part. Other than their switching processors, this entire issue stems from their leading me to believe the M G's don't expire, which they keep leaving out, even though they admit telling me that.
I never said it took me a few weeks, or a couple months to pick it up, I said it was 'a few months'. Maybe it was misleading to some people, and if it was actually 3 months instead of 7 it would make a huge difference to them. But since I was under the impression I could collect the money at any point, I took my sweet time about it. I should have made sure I was told the right thing, but trusted them since it was one of their main payout methods and the rep seemed very confident about it.
Anyway, glad after all the aggravation I was sent the money, and this is over. I'm sure they wish they had just sent it in the first place, instead of not agreeing to any compromise whatsoever, and then getting upset with me for posting about this. Acting like they're doing me a favor now, when they would have done nothing if not for SBR.

This is a nothing dispute IMHO.
OP needs to check expiry rules himself if he plans to wait months to cash a payout. It's not in any way shape or form the HRwager reps fault for telling him it does not expire. It's a 5 second effort to check yourself when it is your money. So personally, I think the OP had no valid argument to be demanding anything more than asking for their help to cancel/re-issue the payment if it was possible.
OP would not accept any responsibility, and tried to minimize his own fault by misleading everyone to start with by suggesting it was only a few months, instead of the truth. So he knew very well he was at least partly at fault based on that action.
No doubt his insistence that this was 100% HRwagers fault eventually pissed them off to the point they decided to to give him a phallic object full of the money so he could do with it what George probably thought was appropriate.
Bottom line for me. Guy got paid twice. HRwager got a bunch of publicity for a funny stunt. End of story.Comment -

They sent almost $60 in coins GLUED TOGETHER, including lots of pennies, which my elderly parents took it upon themselves to sort out.
