Betmania's vig all over the place
With the Bundesliga returning this weekend, I decided to get back in the game and make a deposit. Went with Betmania and took the 100% cash bonus, knowing full well that it requires a 20x rollover - I'm willing to take a chance and grind it out over time. I also know that it's not A-rated, but I've used them before without issues.

Here's the problem: when I was looking at the German soccer lines (as well as several other sports) while not logged in and prior to making a deposit, the goal spread and totals had standard -110 juice. So I go through the deposit process, get my bonus, and now that juice has been raised to -115 or even -120. What happened? The bonus terms say nothing about increased juice.

Customer service was useless and dodged my questions. I expressed my concerns and they wrapped up the conversation by saying "we unfortunately have no control over the lines." Um... what? You're a sportsbook. You have total control over the lines.

It's hard to tell if this juice will continue for future sports that return, since there isn't a ton on the board at the moment. But the thing that frustrates me is I deposited and took a bonus with a large rollover while under the impression it would be standard -110 juice for major sports. That's what the vig is set at if you go to their site right now without logging in/creating an account. Then after making my deposit and locking in to a 20x rollover, I find that juice for the same event has suddenly gone up. Anyone else encounter the same issue?

My German soccer lines are -110 when logged out and -120 when logged in. I've never bet on soccer, haven't been limited as far as I can tell, and have never claimed a bonus. So the difference in odds/juice you're seeing has nothing to do with your bonus it appears.

That is annoying though. You could always tell them to cancel the bonus so you don't have a rollover.

I'm considering doing that, rolling the balance over once and then getting out of there. The odd thing is the moneyline odds for soccer are the same whether logged in or logged out, and actually equal or better than some other books. But the totals and goal spreads are all higher juice.

I used Betmania, Betphoenix sister sportsbooks past few months like a crazy maniac. Rolled over 100k and successfully cashed out about 12k of profit. Although I am satisfied overall, they have pros and cons.

Pros - 1. They pay, trustworthy (The most important thing)
2.100% cash bonus with 15X rollover. (rollover is pretty high but they give you unlimited bonus)
        3. Great customer service. (very nice and polite, unlike some sportsbooks.)
        4. They have premium live system which for me was great, good odds compared to bovada live betting which is juiced as fak.

Cons - 1. From the start the limit is very low. For major sports is $500 and premium live betting is $250. Its gets worse though..
once they see you as winning player and know what you are doing they will limit you very fast and hard. My e-sports and
table tennis limit is $50 now
        2. Not whole lot of games are offered. Some games will pop up randomly like 30minutes before game start and sometimes game
        might just dissapear.
        3. They make mistake on odds a lot, like flipped odds or just mistake. Therefore I had quite a few canceled bets which I won.

Overall, I had good experience with them and although they have some cons and rated B- , personally was way satisfied than some of the A rated books.

Yup. The BetPhoenix family is known for limiting very quickly.

Good write up. They were off my radar but now I know not to bother.

Remember the sports that I got limited are Esports and Table Tennis which they explained to me that they won't limit my regular

major sporting betting. I heard its not just betphoenix group, most of the sportsbooks if you profit a lot from so called non major sports

              they limit you.

Personally I prefer Betmania over Bovada or even bookmaker.

              Should be A rated

I spoke to customer service today. They still haven't given me an explanation for the discrepancy in juice, and my limit for regular sports is $500 ($250 for sims). Really hoping it doesn't get any lower.

It's a very low limit considering I have a $60k rollover on a $1,500 bonus. I guess the silver lining is it will force me to be a more disciplined better and grind it out. Too often in the past I've been over-aggressive in trying to give my bankroll a big boost right away, wagering a huge percentage of my bankroll or going all in. The other good news is Betmania seems to pay out without issues.

By the way, I'm getting -108 juice on Korean baseball of all sports, but the juice on the Bundesliga is still -115 for totals and goal spreads.

Yeah I felt the same way,, Betmania's low limit from start actually worked positively as well for me with forced self - discipline lol

Korean Baseball juice in betmania is the best

                  loving it right now

Glad to hear your overall experience is positive.

I'm not thrilled with the limit. Furthermore, I think they need to address the items you've noticed:

Hopefully they address these things. I'll give them a look once sports is back in full swing.

They also change your juice all of a sudden hoping you won't notice, delay payouts, and generally do shady things to make it very difficult to meet rollover. dont bother with them. waste of time

Although I am limited now rolling over 100k with them I didn't experience any shady things like you mentioned.

Payout was 3,4 days average so its not bad compared to other books

jedihyoju experience matches how I think they are too.

Quick to limit sharp players but only to a level where rollover can still be completed. Also reliable with payouts and fair with disputes.
