BOVADA has suspended all CS support via phone until further notice!!!

Had an issue last night after winning a Texas Hold Em tournament and got ABSOLUTELY NO HELP via Live Chat or in their community from the moderators who evidently weren't available even though their profiles said they were so I decided to call CS #...............Surprised to get a recorded message that said NO CS agents were available as of March 25th, 2020 due to the #coronavirus

My concern is if that's the case then why do they fly that blue banner on the Homepage that says "amidst COVID-19, our decades of experience has allowed us to maintain onsite operations, including fast wager and withdrawal procesing while ensuring our CUSTOMER SERVICE remains world-class"

I dealt with an agent in Live Chat for nearly an hour trying to get my question/concerns answered only to be left scratching my head b/c he knew less than I did!!!

Bovada and any other sportsbook that flies a banner that is 100% FALSE needs its grade dropped on SBR regardless of #coronavirus

That seems like a silly reason to drop a grade....I think factors like payout speed, limits, speed/convenience interface and minimizing KYC hoop-jumping should matter about 300x more.

All of these call centers are scrambling, both here and the US. I get your frustration, but once everyone adjusts to 'working remotely', things will settle down.

I hope they prove me wrong but it seems the A+ books Bovada & BOL are going through the sickness of #coronavirus and I don't understand how w/all the $$$ they make in the Poker Room as well as the Live Dealer option

Yeah this situation is showing that even the big boys weren't fully prepared for a major shock. Still, they have their reputation for a reason and I think they'll make it through fine even though it will inconvenience us. Big credit to the less established books that are paying out as normal.

The good side of this situation is it will reveal to us which books are fiscally sound.

Frankly they should have been ready and I think many books will improve from this. Also, giving the books a break means not giving the players a break.

many books and agents dont even offer phone CS anymore. I know even for me @ heritage when i tried to call once to cancel a bet they told me chat only on the recorded line no live help for me via phone. Most all BTC books are like this too

I don't have a problem with no CS calls but at the very least TRAIN UP your Live Chat agents so they aren't stumbling over what should be very easy questions if you're employed @ any book!!! Wasted almost 1 hour last night in Live Chat b/c the agent didn't understand/know what it took another agent 1 minute to fix!!!

Flu takes about 100 per day in USA in an average year in recent times.

Death toll is already more than double that per day, and growing fast. Not sure where this confidence comes from but if I was betting you I would want someone to hold the points. As you have close enough to zero chance of winning. And if you think this is no worse than the flu, your chances or getting infected are probably higher than average too.
