Optional Appreciation Thread

I don't know the guy personally. I've been here for a few years now and he has consistently struck me as a fair-minded moderator. Seems very responsive to users. Calls out BS without getting heavy handed and deleting lots of posts.

As someone who has used multiple online forums over many years, I've seen other forums go downhill fast due to poor moderation and resulting flight of users.

Maybe I'm wrong about the guy, and I'm sure I'll hear from some users who aren't impressed. It's just my two cents.

So until someone changes my mind, thank you Mr. Optional for your fair-minded work. This community is crucial for keeping the industry healthy.

Absolutely agree. We are in this together. It's important we all update each other on the status at every sportsbook. Some of us have small fortunes at some less than reliable places.

Hopefully we all get paid and can get through this all.

By the way, I don't mean to praise Optional to the exclusion of other moderators. I'm not a daily user of the forum and he seems to be the moderator who posts most frequently. It's likely that there are other excellent moderators here who aren't as vocal. Hope those guys keep up the good work!

Sorry for the late response. In my defense, the thread states "optional appreciation"; if it were "mandatory" I would've posted sooner!

Seriously though, Optional is an asset to this forum. He'll go to the bat for the player if he believes they have a legit beef. Such was the case for me in my BTC dispute with 5D. Thank you sir!
