MGM Grand in the "D" Open Dates

The MGM Grand Detroit "Moneyline" Lounge will be opening for business with Sports betting anywhere from March 1st - March 10th. No exact date just the timeline. Confirmed this from an actual employee in the lounge. Don't see anything posted yet on their website.

It was expected to be before March Madness started and now that is close.
I can only assume Greek Town and Motor City casinos will also be opening same day or within a day or two of the other.

I have no news about sports stadium betting yet for Detroit teams. Here we go for Detroit.

No news on Tribal casinos because we have tons of those in Michigan. I might make some calls when I have some extra time.

You've got Hollywood casino right there. How far is O-HI from getting the betting? Thanks for the link. I'm about 20 minutes from the Detroit casinos, but it would suck having to wait a long time for online. Closest Tribal is Firekeepers. And that's about 2 hours plus. Probably a tie between many (Soaring Eagle). I think there is a small cazzy in Lansing......that would be closest.

At Motor City I think I asked some guy in the poker room. Greek Town was the main operator. They just don't know what the hell is going on half the time. The poker room guy said they are setting up the kiosks, etc. right now. MGM I talked to someone in the actual ML Lounge. I'll just call every couple of days.

MGM Grand Detroit gave me their official Sportsbook open date of March 12th just in time for Madness.

I called all three today. Greek Town and Motor City could not give me a date yet. I will call a few tribal casinos tomorrow if I get a chance. Read something that the tribals might have the online betting way before the big 3 in the "D".

There are going to be so many people holding up the lines betting $12 to win $10 on MSU covering vs Bowling Green in the 1st round of the tourney. Going to pass on going there the first couple months probably.

There’sbetting windows as well as machine kiosks where you can place your bets. Only time there’s gonna be a line is last few mins before a big game.

The key is to make chatter with first-time bettors or bookie bettors in order to validate them as mushes. This is how we can make some serious coin. The more mushes the better. I might go there and not even bet but try to find mushes for when I do want to bet.

We can build a little network of these mushes and make coin on games that the mush is sure about............I have a friend in Vegas that had a bunch of mushes and he was killing it. Then, like many mushes, they go broke or give up! This is why you have to replenish the mush ranks with new soldiers.

Watching news last night it was a little confusing. They said online sports betting is today but the gaming/casino online betting won't be for a while. They open I think at 1 p.m. today. I will check out the online thing because something doesn't add up.

I know right. I would've went there today but really didn't like anything on the board. I'm only focusing on hockey until the tourney anyway. I think it will all get shut down now. Even March Madness. Will be interesting to see when this passes how they will schedule things. Looks like regular season is over in NBA and NHL and they might run right into the playoffs.
