Looks like BOL has set their system to only allow freeplay to be used on +120 or worse.
Makes their bonuses worth very little. Sad!

Something must be up with BetOnline. I received a phone call out of the blue a few days ago asking me random questions about how I liked the poker interface and what I usually bet on. This comes a couple days after my limits being slashed on a few things I was doing well on. Today my first Cash Out since, and it is the first time that it hasn't automatically processed, but is pending review. Also on the call the rep continually reminded me that there was a VIP points poker tournament I should join. I suppose they aren't happy with their 5Dimes scrapes right now, but whatever is happening over there isn't great.

Still a great bonus, but the rollover is terrible. $28k for $1k free play. They have their 100% bowl reload coming up on Sunday too.

they limit the types of bets you can use the fp on also. like you can use it on spreads but not buy any points and still use it.

Update... took them 1 hour total to send my BTC cash out. They might not be a "real" "sportsbook", but boy do they offer the best service.

Their FP has gone from one the best in the business to the worst. Single play with +120 max is ridiculous. At the very least, BOL should allow 2 team parlays at these pathetic limits.

agreed. limiting the bet options, the payouts and then forcing to use fp in full in 30 days doesn't sound A+ to me.

Slow slow death of online books has begun.. BOL won’t be first to die, but it will be swallowed.. 8 billion handle first 9 months of year in USA.. Big boys aren’t even up yet.. Florida Cali Texas Ohio.. Good run by online books but nothing last forever besides the hiv and herpes

Guess their 100% FP is really just 50% cash now. Still a good bonus, but much better when you could bet the FP on big NHL and MLB dogs.

That's BS. If BOL was worried about multiple accounts, why do they allow everyone to have a Sportsbetting and BOL account? Basically that's a legit way of having 2 accounts there and they encourage it. As for others that open additional accounts at both places, BOL has IP software in place that can identify multiple accounts and punish them accordingly. I actually think this is BOL's fault for being clueless with their bonus program.

I suspect it is due to having a higher proportion of sharp players than most books, and they need to stop those guys exploiting parlays in some way.
I think it's kind of inevitable that offshore books are going to have to focus on their point of difference with the US licensed books, their ability and willingness to service pros.
Trying to compete for rec bettors with bonuses against US legal will be a losing sum game.

Is +120 max or minimal odds?

Don't think so. I only have one account and they've given me the bonus at least 5 times.
Besides why wouldn't that apply to all books? It's not like BOL is the only place that has guys opening multiple accounts.

I disagree with this. Currently US legal books for the most part have bad odds and not many good bonuses/promos. I'd say that is a good way to retain current users.

I was thinking the same before this started.
but the % of rec bettors they will eventually lose will force a decision to go for a Pinny/Asian type model to survive I think.

You could be right, I'm just hopeful that's not the case as I prefer good bonuses/promos to anything else.

for offshore to keep going they need to keep their perks up. i can't wait for NY to go legal so I can avoid hassle of getting money offshore and waiting on payments without fees, etc. good bonuses and or loyalty points that actually pay well would be the only thing to change my mind.
BOL playing with FP like this is a turn off for me. I probably will just not take the bonus there now.

Who ever plays poker at SportsBetting.ag we’ll not win. All the do is prob funnel the poker money and sports money to betonline to keep money coming in there bigger site. I live in Florida if a booked opened up here I would drop offshore in a heartbeat. Only way I would stay for there bounes and they would have to be 100% at that otherwise not worth some of the hassle offshore has. Worth paying extra vig to have MONEY IN MY HAND not bitcoin in a wallet that I still have to get out. Sbr one of a kind though I love it here they got a good thing going would not leave this site. So many directions sbr can take this site too just would have to expend it. If SportsBetting became legal everywhere which is happing in the next 2-5 years. Sbr world wide leader in information on all books around the world lol sounds good.

If you're passing on the bonus, BOL's sister book Low Vig is your best option. 105 lines is a bonus in itself.

What's crazy is not realizing that Sportsbetting and Betonline are one and the same. Even crazier is not realizing the value of 105 lines.

yea i think everybody knows that sportbetting is the sister book that pays big brother. I can care less about the 2 just going buy my experience playing at betonline for awhile and since they are the SAME i thought that i would try sportsbetting and get the same experience but it was not. Down to service, grading wages slow and on there risk free bonus bets they messed up big time. Never even would of got them unless i stayed on top of them.poker rigged sooooooo bad as most are but at least betonline lets you win sometimes. just saying there was a huge difference in overall experience between the two.

Dude, the wagers are graded at the exact same time at both books. They are the exact same lines! If you *think* Sportsbetting grades slower based on your experience, it is pure coincidence, possibly bolstered by a healthy dose of confirmation bias.
Also, customer support is the exact same group of agents for both sites, so service can't possibly be worse.
Basically, the only difference between the two sites is their name and color scheme.
