on june 29th at 6:36am PST i made a bet on betdsi on the orioles vs indians. here is a screenshot of my bet slipin text, my betslip reads: "American League: Baltimore Orioles - Cleveland Indians. Money Line Baltimore Orioles +143. Andrew Cashner Must Start, Zach Plesac Must Start"
cashner started and pitched 7 innings. he got the win. plesac started and pitched 3.2 innings. he got the loss. the orioles won 13-0.
betdsi won't pay me because they claim there was a pitching change after i made my bet and so my listed pitchers bet is void. they say someone accidentally changed the starting pitchers in their system after the pitching change which is why my betslip displays the correct listed pitchers even though they say the bet i made was made with different listed pitchers.
two e-mails from an email thread with betdsi:
"Here is a link that shows the time of the pitching change (1:48pm) an the bet was placed long before that (6:36am) it would be impossible to place that bet with Cashner listed at that time since the line with Cashner listed was only available after the pitching change. http://www.donbest.com/mlb/pitching-changes/ Sorry for the inconvenience."
"Sir that is a official source I'm not sure where that is find that information in mlb.com but in fact a pitching change did occur in that game at 1:48pm the reason it says Cashner on your wager is the reason I explained before, after the pitching change when they went and edited the pitchers in that event it changed it even for the already pending wagers. I am sorry for the inconvenience and I admit there was a glitch in our system in that sense but it is also 100% true that you had listed pitchers and there was a pitching change so your wager becomes no action.
We have reviewed this with management and that wager will not be honored just because of a system glitch that wager is rightfully graded as no action and it will stay that way.
Kind Regards,
Chris
BetDSI"
this is outright theft. i have a betslip on the baltimore orioles with two listed pitchers, both of whom started. they agree with this, but say there was a different listed pitcher at the time i made the bet (according to them, when i placed my bet at 6:36 PST, shawn armstrong was the listed pitcher for the orioles). this doesn't make sense for several reasons, but is most confounding because i made the same bet on bookmaker at the same time (8:35am CST), the same pitchers were listed, and THEY PAID MY WINNING BET. anyone ever had a book take such a ludicrous stance?
