    BetTilt Warning
    Sup guys,

Just wanted to update you guys, just in case anyone is betting with BetTilt.

They have snuck a new term into the terms and conditions that could potentially screw a hell of a lot of people over.

They are still being heavily promoted in Thailand and I have seen people have issues withdrawing winnings due to their location, even though live chat said that they were eligible to play, and also they didn't want to refund losing players in the same situation.

They have changed their terms and conditions without sending out an email or notifying you when you login.

The new item in the list is:

"6.10. Below is the list of restricted or blocked countries from which we do not accept any play or registrations. This list is not exhaustive and we retain the right to update where needed: Afghanistan , Albania , Algeria, American Samoa, Anguilla, Antarctica, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belgium, Belize, Benin, Bhutan, British Indian Ocean Territory, Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Chad, China, Cuba, Djibouti, Ecuador, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Fiji, France, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Islamic Republic of Iraq, Israel, Jamaica, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kiribati, Korea,, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Republic of Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Latvia, Lebanon, Lesotho, Liberia, Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, Lithuania, Madagascar, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Moldova, Republic of Mongolia, Myanmar, Namibia, Nauru, Nepal, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Niger, Northern Mariana Islands, Oman, Pakistan, Palestinian Territory, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Philippines, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Russian Federation, Rwanda, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Somalia, South Sudan, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Suriname, Syrian Arab Republic, Taiwan, Province of China, Tajikistan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Togo, Tokelau, Tonga, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Uzbekistan, Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, VietNam, Western Sahara, Yemen, Zimbabwe."

This was added to their website on 08/04/2019.

This is a lot of countries and previously it made no mention of any of these countries before.

I'm not sure what will happen to all of the people from the countries above that already had accounts and what will happen to their balances, so just wanted to share the info and warn people to get their money out.

If anyone has problems with getting money out of there because of this, I have screenshots of their full terms and conditions from 19/03/2019, so if you opened your account before then, it might be able to help.

It's worth also noting that most of the countries on that list were on their drop-down list on their signup form before too.

I would have uploaded the old terms, but its 78 screenshots

I'm sure that they did this to comply with their license, but because no email was sent out about this and nothing has been said to people that have accounts from these restricted countries then I'm just worried what will happen to people with these accounts.

Thanks for the update! Hopefully they follow the lead of most other sportsbooks when restricting countries by allowing people to withdraw their money without any hassles before closing their accounts.

        Hopefully, yes.
But from the looks of it, it looks like this isn’t the case.
My account is still open and the options to bet and deposit are still available, but I'm not going to try it.
Not saying they are doing this, but looks like they are freerolling players who previously had accounts, from that list.

It's a pretty big list. They may as well have just put the countries that they will accept.

              Bettilt Official Answer

We would like to clarify a few points mentioned in this thread:

1 – Bettilt never advertised in Thailand, neither officially, neither purposefully and we shouldn’t have had any accounts open there. We had only one issue with a Thai customer that was promptly solved, the customer was paid and the account closed following instructions from the license issuer.
2 - The list of restricted countries (which includes Thailand) was added to comply with our license requirements.
3 – Existing players from countries that became restricted have the right to Withdrawal their winnings/balances, as stated in the next point.
4 – Bettilt honors its responsibilities to all Rightful Customers complying with our T&C. All players that come to our website in good faith, make legitimate deposits and have legitimate winnings have their withdrawals guaranteed.
5 – In many years most complaints we have seen in similar forums are from players that were proven to be professional punters, customers that registered with duplicated accounts, used faked documents, among others. In many cases the same customers, after being caught, tried to blackmail us without success, by threatening to affect our reputation within the social media. Our policy regarding AML and RG also force us to have a strict control of who is allowed to play in our website. Bettilt will continue to follow those guidelines and to protect our existing customers who come in good faith and expect to have a good experience with us.

Hope to see you soon at Bettilt.

                Perfect answer

Happy to see bookmakers coming here and openly stating where they stand.

It's a big list, so its great that you will honour your responsibilities.

legitimate winnings have their withdrawals guaranteed.

Love that line. Is that in the ToS... this supposed GUARANTEE.

So if Tilt fails to send a payout in 24 hours then what? What compensation does the guarantee get the punter??
