WilliamHill stole my winnings after full Verificaiton

Hello,

after a torture of Verification they just take 609€ from my winnings and send me only 200€ which was my deposit.

They want literally with every Document my Face on the Picture.

-ID
-Bank Statement (not other Utility Bills)
-Username, handwritten on a piece of paper

Sended all and they ask for another
-Bank Statement because there was not a Adress. So i go to my Bank and get this Document.
-Username + Account Number from my William Hill Account, of course i have to hold this document too.

And i send it again. The Live-Chat confirmed the Verification, my Account will be closed forever but they gonna send my Balance. Full of lies.

I´m thinking to go to a lawyer, pretty sure i would win this case but is it worth it for 600€?

Also to the Question, what is the reason for taking my winnings after the verification, after i send them all documents what they want from me. I want to know, who is responsible for that decision. Security Department, i wan´t a name. Who is this Person who can do whatever he wants, take my winnings for no reason.

If they decide you are not who you say you are, or they suspect serious issues like money laundering or match fixing, then under their license they are not supposed to tell you the details, and just report it. That might be why they have acted this way.

You're going to need to appeal to their regulator. What country are you in?

You should have a pretty good chance of getting your money back if you are from Great Britain.

I would love to find out what happens if you get lawyers involved.

Be happy they at least verified the account. I'm still waiting for them to reject my 20+ pics/selfies and documents to get the account verified (after it was already verified the first time and I received a payout by bank transfer). It's been over 3 years I think. I'll keep bringing that up every year or so, maybe it'll stop them from doing that stuff in the future to someone else. They owe me about 700€ I'll never see again and I've given up on it long ago.

Hello,

i've made a deposit via webmoney e-wallet at WilliamHill at about ~800$, got account blocked at balance of ~850$

They wanted literally with every Document my Face on the Picture.

-ID
-Bank Statement
-Username, handwritten on a piece of paper
-Screenshot of e-wallet(webmoney), which shows deposits to williamhill. I've sent screenshots with every transaction that i've made to their website

Sended all photos and they ask for another
-Bank Statement(don't know why). 1st and 2nd bank statement showed my name, adress etc. I think it's enought that they need for verification. I've made photos holding every document near my face. So i went to bank and got another statement and sent another one....

Now they want a bank statement that shows my deposit to e-wallet(webmoney). I've contacted them and said, that i haven't made a deposit using credit card to an e-wallet, and asked for withdrawal my money back to a purse that was used for deposits. But they still holding my money. Looks like they are just stealing money without any reason!


I've read that a lot of persons had the same problem and don't know what to do to get money back, I can send 100+ pictures holding any document for verification, but they don't care and don't want to unblock me or even to withdraw my deposits!

Where can i report them?

2 brand new posts about a firm that most people don't complain about.
2 pretty much brand new accounts on sbr.
Both have the same spelling errors.
Some parts of the posts even use the same exact sentence 'They want literally with every Document my Face on the Picture.'

Not saying that you have opened several accounts with them, but that is the probably reason why they aren't giving you your money.
If you have opened any more accounts with them, probably best to try getting any more money you have there out ASAP.

Your first option is to email second_opinion@willhill.com and ask them to review what has happened.

If they do not explain or resolve for you, then you can ask their Gibraltar regulator to review what has happened https://www.gibraltar.gov.gi/new/remote-gambling

Not saying that you are multi accounting, but if we kept asking for screenshots from the owner of both of the posts and both of the posters kept supplying the information that we asked for, what do you think that we would see?

Obviously we wouldn't be able to tell with 100% certainty that the accounts were related or not, but do you think the results you push the accounts closer the the likelihood that they were related or further away?

Well….that is not how it works; you came to this site and made a public post trying to shame a top-notch bookmaker.

This isn’t a one way discussion where you only show your bias side of the story and defame them.

They aren’t here to tell their side of the story, but we are here to try to help the situation and give it justice.

Some people will blindly agree with you and others will ask the questions to get to the bottom of the matter.

It’s up to you whether you want to answer them truthfully or not.

To any on-lookers it’s easy to see when someone is answering straight up or lying.

But probably best not to for your sake, if the people dealing with your case(s) at WilliamHill see this thread then it might not be too good for you so I won’t push.

But one thing is for sure, if someone is exposing you, probably best not to come at them like you are to me.
