I might be just dumb and will pay the price but I keep a decent chunk of money on fairlay and sleep like a baby. I just cant imagine they are going anywhere soon and if the market maker is paying upfront or not and blah blah blah, I just dont even get that feeling, either they are very good at duping me or they are just kinda not really into the whole sports betting thing and it kinda just fell in their lap!

I don't think they are likely to steal either.

Just that the owners appear to be full of it and are clowning along like a pack of geeks with no business sense.

I'd much rather keep money at Nitrogen than Fairlay. Fairlay already stole money from one player. They told the player that he was laundering money and asked for a video of the player holding up his passport. The player said no but that he would make wagers. Fairlay wouldn't allow him to make wagers and stole his money.

If Fairlay thought the player was guilty of money laundering, they should have turned it into the Costa Rican authorities instead of just keeping it.

I have been with Nitrogen for long time and love them BUT will say that they have way more issues and complaints then Fairlay...Just search the SBR Forum...Plus many Nitrogen players feel that Nitro stole from them Millions due to BCH Fork(Fairlay Paid BCH out)....You keep bringing up the ONE BETG case which everyone knows he was a fraudster(a liar too so how can you believe a word he said)...Your statement that fairlay stole from a player is false as BETG was not a "player" but a "washer" ....I personally don't keep much on any offshore site though I trust everysite I play at...BTC as a funding method has allowed us to move funds so easy why chance it anywhere as things can change in second like Black Poker Friday

Danshan11: please answer this important question

Danshan11: there is a member on SBR forum saying that you dont actually have the funds for the main market maker on here and that money is not actually on the site or in your control somehow

Danshan11: is that true, can you tell me what is the deal with your main market maker?

Danshan11: also can you tell me are 99% of markets with open orders from 1 major or main market maker

Danshan11: I am concerned of these rumors

            Danshan11: go to page 2

            Danshan11:https://www.sportsbookreview.com/for...l#post28481915

Danshan11: I really would like to know so I can share that information with the fairlays memebers on the forum, who are concerned with this

Ognjen-Support: Over 100% of all customer funds are kept in a cold storage and the sum of all issued credit to our customers will always be less than the amount of Bitcoins in our cold storage address, which is 1EV8YeieYEZ7iksGT9jS7KdcbE12pk4FwZ.

Ognjen-Support: For more details please check https://fairlay.com/proof-of-reserves/, so there is no need to worry.

Danshan11: I did not ask about customer funds, I asked about the main market maker if there actually is such a thing

Danshan11: hello, did you get my qet ? about the market maker

Ognjen-Support: Pinnacle is our market maker on most sports markets, but we also use different market makers for politics, horse racing, and so on...

Danshan11: so Pinnacle has an account here fully funded on the site and they create orders on most markets that are here?

How is it false that Fairlay stole money? It wasn't Fairlay's money and they didn't give it to the player or authorities. My point is that I trust Nitrogen more than Fairlay.

I haven't played at Fairlay for a while but when I did, bets matched on Fairlay moved lines at Pinnacle.

My point is that is only public case and betg was not a player but used admittedly as a washer....BETG wouldn’t even fill out a sbr complaint when told to by optional and many peeps here....let’s just move on....Nitrogen and Fairlay in my opinion are the 2 best btc options with Fairlay better on straight odds and nitrogen great for parlays, poker ect...I use both every day

Betg was washing money and Fairlay stole the money. I'm hypothetically stating if forced to keep a large some of money for a year at either Fairlay or Nitrogen, I'm leaving it at Nitrogen.

I'm confused on this. We know that Fairlay is using Pinnacle's lines, but who is putting up the money to seed the market? Are you saying Pinnacle? I'm pretty sure it didn't start that way.

I am confused too and that is why I asked the question of if pinny had a funded account. I think when they hear market maker they are saying they get the lines from pinny but I cant imagine pinny funds the orders. I asked the question and lets wait for the reply.

Danshan11: also there is talk on the forum, that the ms delay in your api allows people to refuse orders based on userid

Danshan11: also is it possible to limit players based on their skill, like skilled players can be blocked somehow

Danshan11: thanks for all the help

Ognjen-Support: I am unable to go in more details, but Pinnacle provided liquidity on most sports markets but all the funds of our users are stored and protected by Fairlay.

Ognjen-Support: Also, we did have some issue when placing orders but that was in no way connected to specific 'skillful' users.

Danshan11: is it possible for the person who gets the matched order to see the person placing the orders userid, in other words can the api provide the bettors userid

Ognjen-Support: I am not 100% sure as I am not an API expert but I am quite sure that it's not possible.

I honestly believe people think the worst about a site, which is probably smart but 99% of fairlays issues are site and or setup related. I think it would be wise to assume they are getting better and better every day at sports betting on their site

I bet big at fairlay and I personally never seen a line instantly move. I of course make good bets so eventually most lines do move BUT I hardly doubt it has anything to do with my bets. I bet an average of 300-500MBtc

I have seen me take all the available and if you wait 10 seconds it comes back again. they just keep refilling it, I did it 4 or 5 times on the same market at the same number over a few minutes and never had an issue, I think the avg was 400ish per bet placed

No they are not, unless makers cover their position, but odds movements in Pin will move FL. And if makers or their software for some reason fail to follow or is late to follow PIN, then your bet will not be accepted after 5 to 10 seconds of the delay. 99% of users will never experience this, so don't worry unless you are an arber.

I have seen me take all the available and if you wait 10 seconds it comes back again. they just keep refilling it, I did it 4 or 5 times on the same market at the same number over a few minutes and never had an issue, I think the avg was 400ish per bet placed

I tested with substantial amounts in the past and it did move.

Pinny do offer all sorts of b2b services these days, so not implausible I guess.

Easy to test, just find some tiny limit market and max-bet it, Pinny will hop.

Yes, if you bet large on smaller markets you will see instant movement on Pinnacle afterwards. 90% sure Fairlay has an agent agreement with Pinnacle.

The guy I posted about a week or two ago who bet $10K on a WTA qualifier match on Fairlay, you can see the moment he bet 500 mbtc, the line went down on Pinnacle right after. He rebet that dog 500mbtc at a time 5 times. The ML went from +140 to I believe +110, slowly decreasing after each bet.

Someone betting $1000 on NBA is not likely to move the line much if at all. If you bet $1000 on WNBA I bet you'd see the line change Danshan.

there is not 1k on wnba very often available. I can get up to 5k on NBA per game at times but reality closer to 1500ish per game.

@danshan11...are you beating Pinnacle's prices by betting at Fairlay? I just so rarely have seen a better line that I don't see the appeal.

Also, have you had any experience laying there? Or anybody, if you offered a $1500 at +100 ten minutes to tipoff on a game that was painted what are the chances someone would take it?

It makes sense if Pinny is the main market offerer there.

The main offers are clearly tied to pinnacle either by a bot or some direct arrangement with pinnacle. The lines move instantly on fairlay action.

The thing of it is Optional, I've followed those NBA markets at Fairlay from twenty minutes to tip, and, unlike MB, where it's a common pattern, I've never seen those kind of +100 offers for 1/2 a BTC pop up. So I have my doubts that such an offer would ever get matched because it's less an exchange with real customers than a wanting-to-be-an-exchange seeded through some kind of formal or DIY arrangement with Pinnacle.

Fairlay is not a high volume per event exchange. Whereas the EU exchanges has many matches on every event. For fairlay at any event you can sometimes see a couple $50 bets matched or someone hitting the pinny odds for max. All depends.

The benefit to Fairlay is instant withdrawals and a winning only commission fee of 0.25% or less. Mine is currently 0.1% whereas I hear the EU matchbooks take an insane 2-5% or something like that.

Fairlay is basically where Pinny offers odds in bitcoin along with a couple small players who offer odds on everything too with much smaller limits.

It is not a good out if you want a slightly better price matched on one single event.
