Censorship in forums if you review a sponsor book?

Well I expect alot of trolls to come out from the book who are going to try to discredit me; I'd rather not put what I am going to put out if I am going to be censored and will use another forum if so.

Thanks for the encouragement, but that would not be enough. The analogy would be a sexual assault survivor. I can call out the rapist, but what good would it do me? If I can tell my story and effect change, then I would. But frankly, I think the inmates run the asylum here.

They won't censor it if your complaint is legit. There's plenty of criticism here of sponsor books. I posted a complaint about a book shorting me a few dollars on my bitcoin deposits and not only did the book look into it and fix the issue, they gave me a cash credit for the discrepancy. So post away....the results can be positive.

You've already lost any possible credibility by comparing yourself to a rape victim. A slow pay isn't the same thing as being ass raped.

Brah, who said this is a slow pay. If you think of your money as your children, think of your book as the guardian of your money. If the guardian abuses your money because of their failed security, their processes, their management, their customer service. That's where I am.

Sorry Optional, I was not referencing you at all. I was thinking of JJGold when I wrote that. You are the audience of my post as I truly believe you are the only one that can help mediate this situation. I am coming out of the shadows of gambling mediocrity to share my story and ending a 15+ year relationship with this book. I am a EV type of person, getting 1.7k stolen out of my account is -EV and losing this book which was my favorite book, -EV. Truthfully, it is more EV to pretend this didn't happen and give what they offer. But I would not be able to live with myself if I did. I hope that you can help me and/or the book come to light and resolve this issue. If you can help this, I would still like the book but not love the book as EV is more important than feelings.

Sorry about all the preamble, I am a cynical sort and sort of figured I would have to prove my case here before anyone would take me seriously.

What has happened is that someone has got my userid/password and bet into my account and drained my balance. I have sent them physical evidence such as what happens when you login, and as you can see from the forum thread I started earlier today. I would have to believe this would put my userid/password in jeopardy. They have flat out rejected and not replied to any of the questions to the security issues. In addition, I have a second account that they promised that they would not steal so I had been betting it today and have similar concerns about my userid/pw so this is an issue imo. (Meaning I get the same unsecured page and even on the betting pages which I would believe my password is vulnerable) Imo if it happened once, it will happen again. The way they have handled it and treated me imo is not right as well.

I am an extremely private individual and if this security breach can happen to me, then it can happen to anyone. They have flat out rejected it and blamed me for my password being used such as I had typed it on someone's phone. I have never logged into their mobile platform.

Then they used the VPN rule they put in their rules (as a long time customer, did they even tell me?) to say that because I have used a VPN they cannot tell anything so again it is my fault. And that was the end of that.

Ok, I understand your problem. There is another recent long 'uncensored' thread on here about the issue btw. The part about being allowed to use a second account has me a bit lost though.

Your instincts were right that you are better to try and resolve it privately though.

Send in a Sportsbook Complaint form and talk to a dispute agent directly. BOL will need to be convinced you are definitely not involved but if so they should make you good again.

Re the VPN... not sure why so many people think using a VPN automatically improves privacy anyway, but in the sportsbook world where books are often overly suspicious of players anyway, it's like waving a red flag asking to be looked at suspiciously.

Actually, in case I am missing something, maybe you can help me understand how using a VPN to place bets helps improve our privacy?

It is not BOL. They are going to be my new favorite book. I have exhausted options with the book I am in dispute with as they have flat out rejected any claims of any compromise. So I do not have good expectations of the next steps of the process.

They have generously over the years, allowed me to have two accounts so I can lose my money twice as fast. lol.

To hopefully build credibility as I do not have good expectations of the next step of the process.

My first off shore was in about 1995 when there was no internet, I had to call a lad in the UK, where the minimum bet was $50 and I was making $7/hr.

My undergrad in business was in one of these schools (https://www.macleans.ca/education/be...-2018-ranking/). I then preceeded that with an IT diploma. Working at an IT consulting company providing 3rd level support at one of the big 5 accounting firms then following that same role at a Fortune 500 company. For the last 4 years, I am in sales of internet security, working from home in an extremely secure environment. I have not logged in any other place except my home.

So yes, I am strongly arguing if it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone.
