    William Hill - Limited account
Hi. I registered a new account on William Hill using the freebet offer they had at the time (http://www.williamhill.com/promotion...omers-details/). I then made a 50€ deposit and placed a 50€ bet on the Double Chance market. I lost the bet and the 50€ freebet was credited to my account.

A couple of days later, before the 7 day limit, i decided to use my 50€ freebet but i noticed my account was limited to lower wagers. I contacted them and they told me their "Trading Department" decided to limit my account, apparently based on a single bet i made. The solution they offered me was to place the maximum wager i was allowed and then email them to credit the remaining of the freebet back to my account. This proccess would be repeated until the 50€ limit was reached. The problem is that in most cases i'm limited to wagers below 1€ !! i would have to email them at least 50 times .

I obviously refused that "solution" and emailed them back but they were inflexible and didn't offer me any other way to use my freebet.

Now i'm left with no options and the freebet offer will soon expire. I would appreciate your opinion in the matter.

Unfortunately this is just the way Will Hill is. You've been identified as an "Undesirable customer" as it was put to me, even after a single bet. SBR is a great weapon to have in your arsenal, but they can do little here as they simply have no influence on Will Hill, not that Hill would change their position regardless.....

I said by mistake "Double chance" on my first post.. the market was "Double Result" (Half-Time/Full-time).

I placed a bet on a big arb yesterday at Willie's, let's see what happens.
                Not looking good, I guess.

William Hill's limited my account after about a month, i was doing some arbing with them, if its on a popular sport you should be okay, it was only when i did an arb on handball that i got limited even though it wasn't a big amount.

Someone at WillHill is selling or spamming email addy's. I have received several emails from spammers with the heading Hetaher ... Hetaher is a typo for Heather , WillHill is the only place i mistyped my given name. I would of changed it but you cannot change it online and i could never be bothered to call them to have it altered.

CS just dismissed this when i emailed them about it and when i asked for it to be looked into the did not reply.

WillHill is a p1$$ poor bookie now. You will get your money out but limits are quickly imposed. I was limited on a arb on Hartlepool (English 1st division footy) last year after one bet, my bet was'nt huge around £70 at odds of around 4.5, the thing that peeved me right off is the fact that Hartlepool is about 20 miles away and i could of argued that i was betting on my supported team to win.

Completely off topic, but why do people write 'would of' instead of 'would have' or 'would've' ?

I is not a native speaker, innit though?

You might contact IBAS. They've had some success on bonus-abuse situations (when the book is abusing, not the player!)

Yeah, I have to agree...If you're looking for a serious sportsbook, then BetFred should be at, or near, the bottom of the list.

Betfred is not for the serious punter thats for sure and neither is W Hills

In fact i am starting to slowly come to the conclusion that W Hills have screwed up big time on the Internet

Their shops and reputation in the UK is top notch but they are starting to damage that reputation big time with some of their recent antics.

they can pull it back together but need to start moving fast

I agree with Justin7 go to IBAS as a starting point,

Or simply take the time to do the silly little bets and cash out and walk away

                                Then use betfair

                                  G E: When will I receive the response ?
Katy: One of our managers will email you today.

The account remained limited with 0.00 on any bet

William Hill - what a joke for serious punter. They need to realize that punters searching for good prices. (If they are a bookie)

IMO Will Hill was good 5 years ago. Today its more a company for poker and casino-players. (Bet Fred too) The sad thing, when big elephants do this, other smaller (and still good sportsbooks) perhaps think. (If they do it, we can do it too)

We(The players) want war against them! Keep fighting. and GOOD POST!
