So I won some money on the Betrally sportsbook in March and requested a cashout. I had cashed out once before and there was no problem. Now they requested a picture of me holding my id. I sent them multiple ones where all data of the id is clearly visible, but they keep rejecting it saying the quality was too low. I m neither a clown nor will I pay for a professional photographer to get cashed out. I offered them to meet on skype, but they just keep requesting a high quality photo which is just a fairly obvious way to try and stall the withdrawal.

#3Is a high resolution selfie a reasonable demand? I m seriously angry, it s a scummy move. I cannot be expected to buy a new smartphone to fulfill absurd demands. What do these people think my time is worth? Nothing?!Comment -

The reason they care about the resolution so much is probably due to them using an electronic ID verification service. They input the image you send and the system tells them if it is adequate. Things like camera anti-shake functionality can make it think the image is altered for example.
Can't you find a friend with a better camera to take it for you? Or maybe check your camera settings and make sure it's on a high resolution? And dont use the front camera, its usually lower res..Comment -

#5Also make sure your email program is not automatically 'optimizing' the image for sending..Comment -

#6Any sportsbook with overly silly cashout procedures/known stalling should receive no higher than a D rating, regardless of their performance on all other criteria.Comment -

#7This is only the 2nd time I have encountered this. The first time this was requested by Vitalbet which subsequently tried to steal my winnings unsuccessfully. Surely I can send a higher quality foto somehow but they already have my id in perfect quality, the selfies are good enough to see without a reasonable doubt that the guy on the ID is me and all the personal details are readable. To me this seems like harassment and this is why I m posting it here.Comment -

#8The cashout process you describe is ridiculous. Your valid id and valid address confirmation is more then enough. These cashout tactics are only their to discourage you from requesting future cashouts.
When you get your money close the account and move on to a A rated book. Imo.Comment
