PS: I noticed an improvement in the transmission time of Coinbase. I made a "bank to coinbase" request that usually takes about 4 or 5 business days. This one was processed in 1 day. Gotta like that.

One thing I did notice from looking at that page, is that the number of transactions per second has gone up by about 2 from where it was last night, maybe this will speed things up a little. 15 hrs to wait at coinbase for a pending transaction from blockchain is crazy.

Let me side track for a moment.

How is bitcoin safe? Back in my poker day you can only cash out to Neteller or Moneybooker with matching "name & email".

Now the sport site ask you for username & password each time you invoke 'live' chat, than you can cash out any random bitcoin wallet, how is that safe? Your pass word is known by you and all support staff of 5dimes, Betonline. All you need is one greedy/rogue staff member to cashout all your balance to a mystery bitcoin wallet. Am I missing something?

I see it is unconfirmed but I did make other deposits on other books and it went through no problem. Been waiting 24 hours+.

I have 4 transactions that have zero confirmations. 3 are to Nitrogen and went through fine. My question- one transaction with zero confirmations is deposit to Bookmaker. They don't add to my account till at least one confirmation I believe? So what do I do? Rebroadcast?

It looks like your problem is that you have inputs that make up that payment which are also not confirmed yet.

I think Betonline system would normally credit the deposit as soon as it sees it if the inputs are confirmed.

I doubt that will help right now and will only work if the transaction has not been picked up by the network but it's easy to do and cant hurt to try.

Weird that you have been waiting that long as I was making transfers pretty much instantly less than 18 hours ago.

It's probably something similar to Hello's issue just above. Your transfer cant be confirmed as the inputs that went into it have not been confirmed yet either.

Your money is safe and wont be lost, if that is any consolation at all.

Was finally confirmed after 22 Hours of pending at Coinbase

Was paid by 5 Dimes in only 6 Hrs, Cannot ask for better then that

To everyone Thank you for all the info, especially Optional, and Goldrush. Anyone have any questions on my expeience please reach out, and Ill try and help as much as possible. I really hope Bitcoin gets this fixed very soon. There are still about 64K unconfirmed transactions out there. I don't understand why they are not able to catch up. 5 Dimes was great with the payout!!! TY 5 Dimes for the fast payout

My transfer from Blockchain to Heritage just hit.....about 11 hours.

With seeing the high number of unconfirmed transactions the past 2 days, and having them way over the norm, the question has the normal number changed now, and we are looking at 65K instead of say 20K unconfirmed. Will they ever be able to catch up with the way it is done now.

You either pay more in the transaction fee field or you wait a long time when there is high traffic.

I pay a .50 cent fee equivalent and all of my transactions go through within 30 mins.

Some places don't let you increase the transaction fee so you're stuck with waiting as they are paying a low fee and are in the back of the line.

I read somewhere that the fees don't really mean anything. You can pay a high fee and still have the transaction take longer. I don't know maybe I'm wrong. I know the place I use there isn't even an option to increase the fee anyway.

Just under the graph it says "what fee should I use". It tells you there the optimum right now in Satoshis. 27200 or 25cents for the average size tx is taking about 35 mins to be confirmed.

Using any higher fee than that is not making it happen faster right now as you can see in the last column of the graph which shows minutes.

What happens if it arrives after expiry?

BitPay tells me even after the 15 minute invoice expires, the transaction will still go through once it hits the blockhain.

The transaction is showing up as pending now in my Bitpay account. The only thing is that since it took some time, it was underpaid by

0.000256 BTC, due to price increase I guess.

Transaction has cleared.

Bitpay was nice enough to credit me the 0.000256 BTC underpayment. Way to go BitPay!
