    Bitcoin issue
Opened a Circle account and deposited 27.00. Sent 25.00 to 5dimes and the transaction was rejected
and my account frozen. They returned my 27.00. After 2 weeks of back and forth they reopened it
and I redeposited the 27.00. After reading these threads I got an intermediary wallet with blockchain.
I got a bitcoin address from blockchain to make the transfer which I plugged into Circle.
After about an hour Circle listed it completed. It showed up 3 hours later on blockchain with the label
watch only. Blockchain stated I needed a private key which I had no idea what it was or where to get it.

Blockchain said it was not generated by them and had no way of getting it. Circle also said it was not
generated by them and they had no way to get it. They claim it should have been included in the
original bitcoin address which came from blockchain. I do not remember a private key ever being mentioned.

So now it appears I lost the funds I have no way of accessing it. I tried everything. It is not a ton of money
but it is not the point. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Besides all this the bottom line is bitcoin is hostile to sportsbooks as indicated many times in this forum. Initial research made it sound like a panacea.
For me the big attraction was lower deposit limits. But if we have to steptoe around in fear of getting
caught than the benefits are not worth the headache IMO. My prepaid and bank debit card will do
fine as I have had no problems with them. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

    Note

I just started a new wallet with blockchain to experiment and not one time did they mention
a private key. What the heck?

Try this. Hit "send". Where you see "From" there is a drop down box to the right. Click the drop down menu. You may have "my bitcoin wallet" and "imported addresses".

Did you have an old blockchain wallet that you converted to the new format?

Somehow 2 wallets were created . The funds went to both wallets but on one of them it was on watch so when I discovered the other wallet address the funds were available. Very strange. Will use small amounts until I become more adept.

That's why I was asking if you upgraded the wallet version. That's when you can end up with a separate wallet containing the funds from the older version wallet/s you may have held.
