I want to give credit where credit is due. In this case the customer[me] was tech wrong - but I learned a lesson, even at my age. I wagered on the WARK/ tennis match at Americas Bookie. Well he won first set, and led 3-0 in the second set , when the other player retired.It states clearly in their tennis rules that [they] grade these cases as no action. Well - I was under the impression that one set final was good enough in a best of three match. After talking with them they did a good thing and graded it as a win--some other shops have 1 set and win rule- So -- thinking of wagering on the first set only sometimes. Lesson learned and my thanks. gl all.

Most of the top Books with grade it as a winner as long as one full set is played, unless its a Grandslam event then it's a little different. It was a generous thing for AB to do in grading it as a winner as their rules state otherwise. I tend to only wager tennis at the top books because if this rule alone. It's useful to have books that grade after 1 set and others that void on retirement. So you have a choice.
I think the majority of books void on retirements in any tennis, grand slam or not. Harder to find good ones that pay after 1 completed set..Comment -
