It's usually best to ask them as it can depend on where you are and what method works best for their payment processor can change... but for 3700 I'd guess a check or bank transfer/wire will be the easiest and cheapest.

Hardly ever any real problems.

They might ask where it came from if it is foreign but the answer to that is either mind your damn business or from work on the web is another good answer. They only ask to cover their own ass as they are not allowed to transfer money for gambling. It's not like you personally are being accused of any wrong doing. You're allowed to be paid and have the check, its just the bank the law covers when it comes to processing it.

And if they don't want to take it... say thanks , walk out door and into the next bank who will take it.

You can do $3,500 by bitcoin. This book usually only takes a day to transfer to your wallet, but they do charge a 2% fee.
