I see this book is rate A- on SBR. Anyone know much about them? I Believe they are a EURO book so I take it they will be quick to limit?
Cheers

Fairly standard European book yes, reliable, solid, decent CS.
Probably quick to limit if you try and hit bad lines; I use them for Racing, Snooker, Golf etc.
I know Aussies have been limited quickly there, so maybe more lenient to UK customers.

I may give them a go. I sent them an email regarding their new customers free bet and soccer betting options. I'll base my opinion on how long they take to reply (they state 36 hours which if accurate, is far too long considering they have no Live chat)

one of the better UK books. Not the hugest range but they do offer a lot of specials (free bet if your horse falls etc). Very UK-centric, dunno if they have enough to offer people from elsewhere.

I gave them a go and deposited a small amount. Won my first bet and immediately my free bet was credited to my account. So far, so good. I wish more sportsbooks offered 'free bets' rather than deposit bonuses or free plays because they have a rollover requirement. The great thing about 'free bets' is, the bet can be placed on anything and if a winner, you simply don't get the stake amount back but all winnings are credited and can be withdrawn immediately. It seems to be only EURO books that offer these. Can anyone suggest any sites that offer free bets?

They limit me to a few Euro after placing 15 bets with 100-300 Euro stakes in their live-betting. No bad lines or something. (only used them for kricket and snooker)
So I show them the door and never go back to them again
6 month later, they send me a email that they have closed my account. .

Quickest way to get restricted (whether you are making +EV bets or not). You are messing with the trader's ego.

If you're betting on cricket from Germany, do they have reason to mark your card as an arber?

Was it just a one-off bet or a series of bets if you keep betting? Depending on the promotion, I think they'll give you another free bet (to the value of your average, max £50) if you place 10 bets with them.
That's a common type of bet offer these days - rather than just get the one-bet bonus whore, they want to encourage regular action. Free bets cost companies a lot of money, and a big chunk of people who take them never come back after they lose that first deposit. Boyles and 365 have similar promos.

All Euro books are quick to limit. Europeans are kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place. We join a Euro book because they usually offer all the odds we are looking for with a book but when we win a little, we are limited. (Although, I only bet small amounts, I have been limited by B365). However, we can also join 'American focused' books but they don't offer the greatest of odds on soccer etc. The only site I can think of that offers decent odds (better than most) and doesen't limit quickly is Pinnacle, am I wrong? Any further suggestions with a decent book. I hear 5dimes are good but aren't they prone to limit also?

Right, Pinny is the best for all major sports.
There are some asians with similiar odds (check the thread about sbobet), but they are nowhere as safe as Pinny.

Yea solid etc, but those books are still silly for showing everyone who doesn't bet any odds blindly the door.
Basically they admit that they suck at managing their lines...usually there is a reason why one side offers good odds (coz most of the square bets pour in on the other side..), but would they accept that someone takes the other one? No, lol. And the juice is also very high at those books for american sports (or everything that is not soccer?), they want it too easy.
Ok if they pay out fine, but still i have no respect for those wankers that call themselves bookmakers.

not wrong ... close to the quickest in and out I've ever experienced at a bookie site
even before I started betting the limit was an insult

If soccer (and in particular AH and totals) is your game SBO and 188 are must have books in addition to Pinnacle and Betfair ... don't really think you need to bother at all with any of the Euro books if you have them.

(thinking primarily of SBO and 188)
