Does the ******** card work at most books? I've heard in the past sometimes it didn't and sometimes it did.

#109I just used Gold-pay for the first time today. The site looks shady, and I was a little weirded out when they requested I send a ** to Maria Conchita Alonzo Ramon Gonzalez in Costa Rica. But after live-chatting with Matchbook about it I decided to give it a shot. The live-chat at ******* worked well too. My only gripe is that I "lost" a few dollars in gold prices in the 5 minutes it took me to transfer from gold-pay to matchbook and I wasn't able to transfer a nice even amount.
In the end, it worked, and I can't argue with that.
Good to hear, thanks for sharing the experiences.Comment -

#111GP used to be a legit processor used for gamblers that play at 5 dimes, TheGreek, or BetJM. Fees involved on transfers was a bit high but the big benefit of using there service was there " at cost " withdraw methods like Bank Wire, **, Money Gram.
Until now...
Since the price of Gold has skyrocketed they have decided to start double dipping on fees, including withdraws.. You can no longer withdraw from GP they want you to transfer to a "independent GP payee" for your GP balance.
Problem with this? I have a few.
1. The "Independent Business" charges a fee to receive money, GP also charges to send them money, also they charge an additional fee on withdrawing the money.
2. The "independent business" account number is the 12th account registered at GP.. What they are doing is scamming people into sending money to them self and getting charge twice on it. On a $1,000 withdraw minus all the fees your now looking at around $800 bucks.
3. GP will still allow You to Deposit any method of your choice but not withdraw.
Good Luck going 70% this year and only breaking even. They will bleed You dry!Comment -

#112Sad to hear this. One wants GP to be a viable option. Twenty percent is not viable. Do they have any other payout options for US customers?Comment -

#113Josh, why not just use a Bank Wire? or the new method that they have (see your email)? Seriously, the new method they have, that i don't know if were allowed to talk about, is about the same in fees as ** and **, i f not less. You should check it out...Comment -

#118Hello GP!
I haven't forgot you!
I was treated like a your redheaded step brother when I signed up with you!
And, I did complain several times to your [ill-mannered] agents.
They were so bad, and, worse than that, I had asked 2 or 3 times if there were any hidden fees.
They would come back with the same robotic statement," GP doesn't charge any fees." Right!!
But, your Books get charged from you, and especially Matchbook, who then recharges you those fees.
The ** fee was very high to get funds to you. One of your agents should have told me that their is no refund from GP or Matchbook for funding fees. So, I was hit twice with fees on one deposit.
And, again, your agents that work there[ are you one of them?] were very crudely behaving, and delayed me 3 days for a withdrawal from GP, after I FIRMLY told them I wanted the money ASAP.
One of the crude employees said the money would be there the next afternoon. No, I think he meant 3 days later? That's when I finally received the money. And then, it was late in the evening!
I firmly believe, your agents purposely delayed me because I was on their ass for 4 or 5 screw-ups in one week. [Yes, there were more!]
I did put that information on this very forum 5 weeks ago, the one you are on now.
So anyone wanting read it again can get it back if they want to.
I was thoroughly disgusted with your service, thanks to your agents BS!
And that delay was inexcusable!Comment -

#125Do you blame them? If you ran a processor or sportsbook, would you really wanna come on here and deal with people on SBR... 90% of whom don't even bet more then 100/game?
I have absolutely no complains about GP, except for the fact that they have small CC limits ($500 is the max) and can only use it once per 14 days....Comment -
