Benny, if you don't want to be treated like "scum" maybe try not treating others that way.

You're attitude just leads to books being tougher on everyone, and suspecting all players will act like "scum" as you suggest they should.

      Agreed.

I've played at a huge number of books over more than a decade and despite the fact that I hate most of them for not allowing me to continue betting, only two have ever tried to cheat me.

There are far far more players cheating bookies than bookies cheating players.

Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you.
(not bad coming from a devout atheist eh?)

optional-hareeba thanks for saving me the trouble of replying to bennybignuts- also heard from someone at bookmaker yesterday who said that he would get me something for being honest. very easy to always be honest and trustworthy with your best friends(some people can't even do that) - not so easy with strangers and people you don't care for. but thats the test how you treat people you don't care for. i have never been a fan of bookmaker. have posted here many times about things i don't like there. just went there to play live betting.

anyways, looked in my account today and i was given 300 free play. thought i was going to get much more when i started calling them about the mistake and i was hoping for cash not free play.

but 300 is still free for doing nothing more than the right thing. i am fine with the way it worked out. thanks to whoever that was at bookmaker that called and got me the 300.

also would like to thank every single person that did not have a few derogatory names for me in their posts

I also think it was the right thing to do. Good for karma

                Wow this is heartwarming

So hypothetically if you falsely accused a poster of attempting to bypass store restrictions and froze his purchasing ability on his account which had 8k plus points and was near Pro membership expiration so in essence he lost 8k+ points you wouldn't question making it right and giving him some compensation or at least apologizing, hypothetically of course?

It is not "stealing" if they have no means to prosecute you. Worst they would have done is ban your account, big deal.

"Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you."

its different between sportsbooks and gamblers, its not like society. its basically war. both sides know this, its the reason they have so many underhand tactics.
they have to take some responsibility for being stupid, and a 300 fp - isnt enough.
