transferred $500 from 1 book to another. some how i get $6699 in my account. i call both books numerous times to get this fixed. each saying the other made the mistake. i finally get both accounts straightened out and ask both books for compensation for telling them about the $6199 mistake. both blame the other. i did expect some form of free play from at least one of them. did not want to steal the money. but like i said did expect something back. both A books.

#3accounts straight. $500 transfer ended up right. each book says the other book made the mistake and vise verse. each told me the other book should give me something for bringing it to their attention. i got nothing. i still have no idea which screwed up and which book if any ended up making an extra $6199.Comment -

#4horrible mistake, you should taken the 6k and never look back and called it a betting career. This way not only are you quitting while your up but both books likely would have banned you. Now your forced to deposit again in a week and keep losing money.Last edited by easyliving; 07-13-14, 02:04 PM.Comment -

#7there is no retiring - i like to gamble. i have been taking out money not depositing fresh money offshore. did book to book because i had zero there and they do more mlb game live betting than anyone else which is the only good thing about them. would not want to steal their money. but was positive of some compensation and when both blamed the other and i got nothing i had second thoughts. it took 5 calls to fix this. over an hour. glad i called them it was the right thing to do. just having second thoughts. happens again(which it won't) it may have a different conclusion.Comment -

#9heeehawwww thanks. thought by now i'd be getting ridiculed for not taking the money by many posters. i did not realize i left out the names of the books until my second post and no one has asked. i am surprised no derogatory comments. ----yetComment -

#12believe it or not - i had to convince them there was an error. it took 5 calls. each said call the other one they made the mistake. i still don't know if one sent to much or the other deposited more than was sent. one said we sent $500 the other said they sent $6699. that's why no compensation no one admits i saved them $6199. but one of them would have been out $6199 if i never called. and called and called.Comment -

#14you are right it would be stealing. and i decided not to. but if i had risk/reward was pretty high. i risk losing $500. with a $6699 stake to roll it 3xxx and still have more than $500 and be able to withdraw it. i think if i wanted to steal i would have definitely taken those odds. eventually ---- maybe someone would have noticed and even then it may have been too late. i would have needed only 1 withdrawal.Comment -

#16i decided not to keep the money. if i wanted to steal the money there was a few ways of going about it. my mistake. i did not steal the money but i think someone at one place or the other did steal the $6199 difference.Comment -

#17Hi relaaxx,
Mistakes happen with b2b transfers. There are a large volume of transfers processed by sportsbooks. Hopefully you don't question doing the right thing due to not receiving compensation for it.Comment -

#18Yeah, I did not suggest to steal it. Would just have been interesting if you had waited, I'm pretty sure someone would have missed their money a week or two later and it would have sorted out itself.Comment -

#21I believe sooner or later they would have noticed a $5K mistake, but you letting them know in advance was a sign of good faith.
Instead of the companies blaming each other, I believe they should be giving some time of compensation for the honesty. As Chad mentions, I also believe most would have tried to spend it/cash it, well done.Comment -

#24it was very tempting. especially after having to call over and over to get either side to see there was an error. by the forth or fifth call i was thinking this is nuts - just keep the money. only risking 500 with 6699 to play with. if either side complained(i had no idea who screwed up yet) or bookmaker found out they messed up i think i would have been covered. i called bookmaker 3xx they insisted there was no error. all the time i was sure i would be compensated pretty good for a 6199 mistake. i was hoping heritage screwed up since they are obviously way more generous than bookmaker. sorry i did not keep my bookmaker balance at 0. i hate the withdrawal fees there but i wanted to play their live betting platform because they do so many games. my mistake. it won't happen again. i either lose the 500 or get to withdraw one time at some ridiculous fee.Comment -

It's not a scumbagg move to take the money.....you know why?
Because 99% of these online sportsbooks are ran by scum.
Almost every single one of them is owned by pieces of shit who con and scam and are degenerates like all of you ppl depositing money to them.
They close shop, get busted etc and you get nothing if you have money in there.
Even SBR has scammed posters ().
I live an honest life and even I would try and cash that out in this position.
"hoping for some kind of freeplay as a reward" is dumb as shit too.
The smart move is to make about 10 wagers of 500-1k each first and try and drain out the mistake.
If it's a higher volume book you can get away with it.
That's even if your story was true to being with.
The sports betting world is about 90-95% scum.
Keep that in mind next time.Comment
