In hope so it has been really a nightmare.I finally had a nice win the other day when at first i thought it was a definite win. Had Jazz at -3.5 and they were up 10 with 2:40 to go. Next thing you know they are up 2 with like 1 second left and they get fouled. I was thinking watch this, he will make the first and miss the second FT making me lose by Half a point. I stand corrected. Looks like they moved out about 2 months ago. We need to speak with them and update their listing on SBR. I can see they are on another platform and server with many other PPH sites. We will inquire about their affiliation with the provider.
Its not absurd. The poster above was the owner of Apex, now using a new name. We arent talking about a bet dispute you disagree with, but a couple hundred thousand in balances that disappeared overnight. Unfortunately most players who were stiffed weren't able to be found. Those who stuck around in forum land got a settlement including one that popped up in 2011. The Apex books are off the blacklist but I agree with you, the players should know the facts.
I think he learned a lot after the sharp players sunk Apex. He is a good marketer who built up customer lists before Bet33. He knows who posters are and keeps them happy which is well worth it. Unfortunately we know that isn't good for the board. The last thing we reported on APEX was his BetJambo using fake SBR Rating accolades which has since been replaced by his own rating site's approval.Comment -
SBR always said ratings are only a "guideline" and not meant to provide any proof in regards to a books solvency. They cited it enough when BetIslands went bankrupt losing hundreds of thousands of dollars from SBR posters. So the "guideline" says that 1 vice a D Book yet have no payout complaints within the last 3 years, tons of p2p payout reports from posters across North America and the world as well as tons of contest winnings paid out across other sports betting forums.
There's a reason you can't even type 1 vice at SBR without having it blocked out. They say it's because they don't want it spam advertised but what it really means is they have no AFFILIATE relationship with the book and aren't making any KICKBACKS off poster signups and LOSSES. If a sportsbook doesn't pay out that affiliate ransom money to SBR it's automatically an "untrustworthy" book and they will dredge up whatever scum off the bottom of the pond to smear its repuation until they pay up (SEE WAGERWEB).Comment -

But you are correct SBR's primary tool is the logs and info for the player. Don't take one person's opinion. Read about the books that have failed in the past, the quotes of the players who were stiffed or about the payment plans etc.
Vice hasn't had a payout complaint and players seem to be happy so far. Thats good. Concerns are as of January, TMK, they didnt own an asset contributing to their business. No office, no servers, no website, no daily staff, no computers. They were a white label copy of Bet33. Now what is their situation? Who are the leaning on? Or did they get bought out and decide to buy this office? We dont know. Hopefully we can talk about some new positive things. But reality is they are a new, small book that plugged into a new provider. Paying "posters all over the world" and spending marketing on them just means posters are happy.Comment -
Yes no doubt 1 vice will get a fair rating IF they PAY UP via an affiliate agreement or with advertising. Why should whether they have their own staff, office, services, website or computers matter? Did it make any difference in Betislands case? I'm sure Betislands had fantastic offices and friendly staff yet still STIFFED SBR posters nonetheless. You can also list all the other "highly rated" books like Legends, The Greek, Cascade that all went broke over the years screwing players. Did the ratings guide making them A books any difference then? So why should it now?
Give me a PPH shop that actually PAYS 100/100 then a fancy operating screwing players by stealing their money. I mean it's crazy that SBR provides higher ratings for other books than 1vice but offers no further evidence of fiscal stability yet they are somehow less suspect. a book like "looselines" is really more stable? Based on what? So just stop, the ratings literally mean nothing if they are merely a "guideline" and SBR doesn't stand by them in any fashion.
I would also rather a book spend money on its actual customers making them happy through bonus/expediant withdrawals then paying huge fees to big affiliate portals (like SBR/Covers etc.) and then shutting down like any number of "respectable" books that SBR has rated highly over the years. Isn't player experience a large part of how ratings are determined anyway? I mean we "vote" for A rated books. I'm glad SBR can steer players past all the "poorly rated" books like 1-vice, Americas bookie, HR-wager, Hollywood and into more "safe/highly rated" operations that SBR happens to have an AFFILIATE relationship with. I deposited 500, after 3 wagers, they cut my limits to 100. Then they cut it to 50. They will not modify the rollover or give me back my money until I rollover. I expect maybe in 2016 I will finish rollover. I do not recommend them.Comment -
It's really not that hard to meet rollover quicky at $50/game if you bet your balance daily and hit a tad over 50% but that is amazing they cut you like that, I talked to them and they said betting limited are based on deposits, that is shady as hell they cut your limits to chump amounts, still nat hard to make rollover though will just have adjust betting to high volume of games if your previous strategy was large bets on very selective games.Comment -

I'm not privy to how 1vice advertises so didn't know that SBR had turned them down. Maybe they didn't want to pay the exorbitant affiliate rates that SBR wanted? I could also care less where players take their money whether it's there or not.
