This seems like a very similar case to mine (although I don't believe there was a software glitch on Bodog, merely a failure to recognize that it's not in their best interest to book these parlays). Do you plan to downgrade Bodog's rating? If this resolution increases WagerWeb's rating from C- to C+, certainly Bodog's refusal to pay me should result in a Bodog downgrade.
No, they won't be downgraded. Bodog pays too much $$ to be downgraded.

I think we should give SBR a chance to respond before coming to that conclusion.

Is there anyone here that thinks Bodog would cancel wagers if you lost. Correlated parlays have an edge but they can lose also. Bottom line is they are a garbage book and just because they pay to advertise does not make them any better.

Unbelievably scummy thing to do after accepting the wagers. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It will definitely effect my choice of where to put my sportsbetting funds. I hope they pay you in full.

What a penetrating joke and tragedy. These scumbags continue to do whatever they want . Never would happen in Vegas

Why not send Calvin an email ?

He's not really involved but may well have a word about "relative cost of making you good" versus "loss of good will/public opinion" about the whole thing to someone ...

I honestly don't care if they make it right by canceling all correlated losing bets, the fact that they initially tried to only get rid of the winners tell me everything I need to know about them.

Absolute BS to the player to wait an entire penetrating week to cancel the bets... Fukk the free half point you get on some games there, everyone leave for a few months and teach 'em a fukkin lesson

Bovada is now on permanent blast, one of the scummier things I've ever seen a book try and pull.

Just to clarify I think he's talking about Bodog.

This isn't anything new. All books will void plays that violate their rules, even if the system 'allows' them. Haven't you every gotten the 'bad line' scenario? All books include a clause in their rules that states something like "we can cancel your bets for any reason". Your only argument is to ask them to grade the losing correlated plays as 'no action' as well. If you've been with them for a long time, you may be able to annoy them enough that they will eventually pay you. Ask to speak to a client retention agent. If you've lost in the past, they may pay you to keep you around.

Ya my bad. Is there a difference though? The former bodog rebranded in the US and became bovada.

So is the current bodog someone just using an old name, or were the US players sold to bovada whose under different management... Don't see Ayres doing that though.

Or are they still under the same umbrella when it's all said and done?

More than a month later, still no resolution. I haven't heard from Bodog in several weeks now despite continued reassurances that they would call me the next day. SBR hasn't given any indication that they have any interest in downgrading Bodog despite the precedent set with WagerWeb.
