these guys are constantly giving me promos even though i hardly play there and mostly donate my cash to 5dimes and bet365. customer service is really nice . they gave me a free entry into a 10k GT tournament and 20 dollars poker cash on feb 5th. i registered for the tourney 2 days ago . apparently i registered for the wrong tourney. i thought it was today but it was yesterday. they looked at my history , saw i didnt play a single hand in the tournament and said we will give you entry into todays tounament. but make sure you register for the right tournament next time. the problem was i was seeing times in GMT instead of EST. my settings were set for EST so i dunno what happened.

ive heard things about this book and whatever it is they dont pay in 24 hrs like 365 or as fast as 5dimes but they pay whatever you win, customer service is flexible and courteous. the poker client is very decent .

dont usually make a thread like this for a book but i was very pleased at how they understood what happened and gave me a break . most other books would keep saying you missed the tourney sorry and tell me to have a nice day.

bet online... a couple more improvements (esp on the speed of payout end) and this book will be A .

Well of course it is all true and I myself used to have problems with betonline.
There is one big BUT.
There isn't probably any other betting site that would improve so much last 2 years or so. Lately the owner changed to. They paid not only their own debts but also outstanding debts of other sites (sportsbetting.ag players, players on the Action network that used to wait 1.5-2 years! for the money and would never get it if not the money from betonline).

Yet people keep bashing them about their previous sins (that aren't even related to the new owners).
Call me a shill but find me another bookmaker/poker site that improve so much last 18 months or so and that did so much good for players even from other sites/skins (e..g the action poker network fiasco where hunderds of players wouldn't be ever paid if not for BOL).

Are they top notch book? Nope not at all but they are on the way and if they keep getting better they may become one.

When BetOnline first added poker, there were different issues and mistakes made. It was never a money issue, the book wanted to keep its poker room clean and in a few isolated instances legitimate users were caught in the crossfire. All of these issues were resolved and BetOnline has learned from their mistakes. Have you seen any other similar poker issues surface recently?

BetOnline made improving their payout processes an area of emphasis over the course of the last year. 90% of payouts are said to be received before or by the payout dates. The instances that run later due to the nature of certain processing methods in general are worked through. If players aren't satisfied with BetOnline's answers, they are welcomed to write to SBR for a third-party opinion and BetOnline is willing to consider SBR's viewpoint.

Typical sponsor book response. If BetOnline's banner wasn't sitting at the top of this website, you would probably choose to point out the negatives, including slow paying any amount over 3k every single payout, worst poker on the net, the worst rollover rules, etc.

It's actually pretty sad when a shop such as ***** is quicker, smoother, and all around much more effecient with payouts than a monster of a book like BetOnline.

That's not taking a shot at Griffin and 1*vice, because they are running a consistent, professional shop with great customer service, but you'd expect a book such as BetOnline to have the ability to pay much faster. They've been around for 2+ years with absolutely no complaints anywhere. In that same time period, there have been many complaints about BetOnline from slow pays, to no pays (don't know if it was resolved yet), to scamming rollover tactics (i.e. where they refuse to 0 out a rollover from over a year ago) to many other things.

I have never heard of someone getting a 3k+ payout on time from BetOnline, not once.

SBR's sports book ratings can no longer be taken seriously. There are books on the rating guide that have been rated C or worse for years with absolutely no complaints and great customer service. Then, you have books like BetOnline, where although they've had an endless amount of problems, maintain a high grade. Why one might ask? Money talks.

Well let me be the first then, because I have.

I have received some of my wire payouts within a week. I'm not going to pretend all payouts are perfect, but they ARE much improved from where they were at a year or so ago. Still some delays with wires but that seems to be common amongst even the best books these days. But I have received multiple payouts (above your number) well within the timeframe.

Some of my Payouts were instant and some took a couple weeks always varies. They did screw with me a little bit when I was trying to empty my acct once, kept cancelling payout and making me re-request for about a month, but eventually paid it to me in full. Overall they will pay but you may have to wait a week or two occasionally,

my sbr complaint with betonline from the summer was never addressed, even after i posted a thread about it in this forum. nobody from sbr responded to my compaint, nor posted in the thread, which was updated many times over the course of several days.


not a bad book in my experience, but they do shady stuff sometimes. you may be able to resolve it directly with bet online customer service, but if not, don't count on sbr to go to bat for you.
