    Correlated Parays
5dimes allows correlated parlays. I know it has not always been this way.

Does anyone know when this changed?

Obviously behind the times, but when did they let bettors correlate parlays?

    Thanks

      Yeah, which sports?

      If it's hockey don't bother.

It's a situation where if one thing happens, another thing is very likely to happen as well.

I was able to bet Miami -5 and under 104.5 on a first half bet vs the Lakers on Christmas. They cancelled the -5, so it did not pay as much, but I did get paid.

Also have a bet out there for the Dolphin ML and the Under.

                    Another example would be...

                    Warriors -3
                    Warriors ML

I like screwing with the too-cool-for-school ticket writers at the M every once in awhile and throwing a 2-teamer like that at them and watching them flip out while I pretend not to understand why I can't do that.

None of those are considered correlated parlays, the correlation is too weak. Actually betting the favorite and the under is anti-correlated

A correlated parlay is something like week one in ncaa football this year.
oregon was -59 and the total was 66.5 vs Nichols state.

Oregon -59 and over 66.5 is a correlated parlay virtually no one would allow.

Wish we could do that. Love to go all-in on one play so why not parlay it.

My fault. I guess the reason why they allow this is because in fact they are not correlated.

I was under the impression that if you could parlay two wagers in the same game it was considered correlated.

                                Thanks for the clarification.

It wasnt "cancelled" champ, the half ended at 5. Thats just how 5d grades a push.

Under and +1.5 in MLB/NHL is correlated.

Good example of a correlated parlay is in soccer where you parlay a draw and under 2.5 goals, since most tied games end 0-0 or 1-1.
