Hi. I have been waiting for 9 weeks for 450 USD, wrote x emails to Canbet and like most of you I am really angry. Have anybody been paid last week as Canbet promised?

#72Nope - not a penny. Am owed £6grand...tried to keep quiet & deal with Canbet directly - but 7 weeks on they've never even once talked or emailed me, apart from 'copy & paste' responses. How long does this go on, before being black-listed?Comment -

#73I am owed a similar amount T727. I think its a shocking way to treat their clients. Why doesn't the Gambling Commission revoke their license? If they cannot meet their liabilities they shouldn't be trading.Comment -

#74Now seems that no one institution is responsible for this issue. I didn't see that anyone received money, last week, so their promise was one more lie in a row. Obviously Canbet can do whatever they want because Gambling commission, IBAS, or any other have "full understanding" of situation, and we just can pray and wait for our money. I also contacted Skrill, because Canbet use their services to take money from players(but not for payout), but they also don't have any intention to do something. I wait almost 3 months, and I am very mad about behavior of all of this companies.Comment -

#76Currently owed close to 2000.00 bucks. I have yet to file a complaint was hoping these clowns would do the right thing but I guess that is not possible. Have heard commission is doing nothing as well, which is a real drag and is going to hurt peoples confidence in other UK books. SBR needs to step up and black list this book.Comment -

#77We looked into this one. Apparently its an office suite that hosts to several companies.
The only point that gives me hope is the Gambling Commission statement that their Auditors have confirmed there is cash to pay us.
Perhaps SBR can push for an update statement because the work that was going to take a week expired some time ago.
I find this forum very helpful. Im owed thousands by these Lemons and to kept waiting two and a half months unacceptable.Comment -

#78Hi All,
I filed a small claim a few weeks ago and the deadline for Canbet to respond is tomorrow. I had hoped that the small claim action would have prompted them to pay me by now - but the haven't. The Christmas period probably isn't a great time to be chasing money. I'm now starting to look into the next steps of further court action - does anyone have any experience of this? Has anyone else made a small claim that hasn't been responded to? Any advice would be much appreciated - though I expect that if you have been successful with small claim stuff you're unlikely to be checking this forum.
Thanks,Comment -

#79I like endtoend have also have done a claim through the small claims court and the deadline for their response is tomorrow (28th). So far despite advising Canbet of my Court claim the standard replies from them have been received and no actual reply has been made to my claim. I am very concerned it has got to this stage as I have heard that others who have been successful in their claim have only waited a few days for funds once their claim went in.My next step is that I will be applying to the court to request judgment where the Court will then make an official order to Canbet to pay the outstanding sum. I have just emailed Canbet with a final ultimatum for payment advising this. I feel the key point now is if whether they do actually have the funds to pay at this moment in time bearing in mind these problems stretch back several months now and what serious consequences this will have for them if I get to the stage very soon where a Court Order is actually made.Comment -

#81my opinion
I'm waiting 3 months for my 10k€.
IBAS can't help, Gambling Commision can't help.
But the worst is that they have D+ rating at SBR.
Could you belive it? D+ means some risk to players funds.
This bookie is insolvent and should be closed.
GC should payout the costomers if they want mean something in the future
or just back off from the planet too.Comment -

#83It is quite strange that they have D+ rating, they lie people over 3 months about paying, but just some low amounts payed. Their director told us before 3 weeks, that problems are resolved and paying will be automated again, and yesterday I received a legendary answer : "Our finance team are continuing to make manual payments every day." Obviously they can not coordinate their lies. And of course no one is responsible for this, Gambling commission give me no respond, also Skrill still offer their services to this fraudsters, and I warned them couple of times about what Canbet do, but no luck. I am very far away from England , so I can not go to their office in London, maybe someone who live in London can go there and check situation, but personally I don't believe that this can change somethingComment -

#84Important Message In Canbet.com Site
Canbet will temporarily cease taking any further bets or deposits, effective from 31 December 2013, due to an ongoing system malfunction affecting client withdrawals and deposits. Please note that any unsettled bets will be honoured once the result is known.
The previous software fix has not rectified the current problem to the satisfaction of management and as a result this has lead to management taking this decision to temporarily cease trading until we can integrate a final technical solution, (which we are currently working on). The UK Gambling Commission has been notified of this decision.
Canbet apologise for the delayed payment issue and fully understand your frustration. Canbet has informed the UK Gambling Commission and we have assured them that ALL customer payments will continue to be paid as previously notified.
As part of our current software upgrade, the company are launching a new state of the art sportsbook and a mobile betting platform in the coming weeks.
Again Canbet apologises for the delay in payments and we will keep you posted with updates on our technical progress, which we are working to resolve around the clock.Comment -

#91Probably the end of our hopes. The worst thing is that some players got their money, although I requested money before them. That fact makes me very mad. Did anyone had problems with deposits as they stated in their last message? Igasgroup remove all sites from their list of Serviced sites(it was 8,9 sites), so they all are in deep shit obviously. Gambling Commission still don't respond on my claim, it seems that they are on their side(because they"understand situation"), and they don't have any obligation as license issuer. Why Gambling Commission didn't release some statement about this case? I want their explanation of this situation. How I can trust Canbet if they lied me at least 5 times. Bad ending of this year, very bad

#92Hi guys,
Canbet Sportsbook has ceased accepting bets and deposits as of 31 December 2013. Canbet updated its website homepage this morning with the news. This comes nearly three weeks after Canbet management claimed to SBR that all players with outstanding payouts would receive their funds in a week.Last edited by SBRAdmin3; 07-19-14, 10:47 AM.Comment -

#93Gambling Commission Statement:
How are you responding to complaints about Canbet?
31 December, 2013
The Gambling Commission understands that Canbet has suspended its operating activity with regard to taking bets and new deposits from 31 December 2013. We have written to the operator expressing our considerable concern and explaining that we are actively considering the commencement of a review of Canbet’s operating licence.
We have asked Canbet for reassurances that they will:
not accept any bets or new deposits for the foreseeable future
continue to pay out those customers who have outstanding balances
provide a progress report by 6 January 2014, to include details of the amounts still outstanding to existing customers, the number of customers affected and the timescale within which they will be paid.
We have also requested a further report from Canbet’s auditors to confirm that the company has the finances in place to meet its existing obligations.Comment -

#96Hey guys, how are people getting on with getting their withdrawals?
I have just been fed bullsh*t that because I qualified for the bonus and didn't fulfil the rollover requirements, all winning bets and money were wiped from my account (about £2,700 worth) despite the bonus balance left untouched the entire time it was there (as i understand real money is used before using the bonus).
They have also based the winning bets on the last 90 days when their terms state that after 60 days the bonus is removed (which it wasn't). Any one had a similar issue? im guessing they are trying to hand out as little as possible and doing anything they can to do so.Comment -

If you have not touched the bonus money, then you are entitled to your account balance minus the bonus amount. Hopefully, you kept records, or even better screenshots of your account history when it was still available (I didn't do that but perhaps in the future I should...).
In any case, if it is true that you did not touch any bonus money then they definitely owe you the money.Comment -

#99Yeah that's exactly what I think, they are clearly attempting to withhold as many funds as possible.
Has anyone had any experience of taking on bookmakers through the legal practise, based on terms written and not followed?
I'm going to reply politely to see how they reply before unleashing hell. Will update the situation as it happens.Comment -

#100Here is the situation as I see it.
Can still log into the site and bets are being settled every day. No markets are available.
Suspension of betting coincided with end of the financial year.
They may come back up with a new site and new finance system and we all get paid swiftly.
There is a different site because it could be a different company.
We think there are assets of £5 million on the submitted accounts so there could be money to pay us.
They throw in the towel and finally tell the truth they haven't the funds to pay us, that they got it wrong with their 100% reload bonuses.
If the company goes down we become creditors and may get paid but it will take time. Possibly a percentage of our balances e.g. 5%.
A friend has already done a *********** claim. They didn't pay so he has the option down to move onto a County Court claim.
The next report from the Gambling Commission following their deadline is key. We should learn if they intend to pay.
I am in this book up to my neck and am owed a substantial sum like colleague posters.
I pray every night for us all. I want a satisfactory outcome.
Regards

#101interesting how nothing happened after canbet director's statement proved to be a lie (11 December 2013: "Please be advised that your withdrawal request will be processed and paid over the next week.")... no apologies, no explanations, no reactions from GC or SBR... normally that clovn should give at least some excuses when he didn't keep his promise... please correct me if I am wrongComment -

#104Tried a payout in November and they told me I had 4500 left to complete on my rollover. So I gave them close to 6k in action over the next week then requested my payout. Found this was entered into my account on the 1st of Jan. Penny pinching since they can't cover what they owe. SBR and the Gambling commission should be ashamed of themselves for still representing these clowns in anyway. Downgrade them to an F- or delete that they even exist from this site. Not that SBR had much but losing credibility by the day.
