    Betdaq cancels wagers post-event
    Dear Member,

Due to an administrative error, todays English Conference game Woking v Northwich was erroneously displayed on the site with Northwich listed as the home team. As a result we have voided all bets on this game as per our market rules.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

This has cost me. Some will have gained out of it though. I would have expected this UK exchange to be a bit more thorough before they put up their odds. Can anyone point me in the direction of this specific rule that they are referring to, I can't find it on their site?

In the event of a change of venue, all bets will stand unless the match is played at the ground of the team listed as away.

I assume they mean that one although there wasn't a change of venue, they just listed the teams the wrong way round and that isn't covered by their football rules. It is debatable as to whether or not it's covered by their general terms:

While every effort is made to ensure complete accuracy, BETDAQ does not accept responsibility for any errors or omissions with regard to the display of selections or event times. BETDAQ reserves the right to correct errors of timing and settlement. It is the responsibility of the member to ensure that he/she is aware of the rules relating to individual markets. BETDAQ cannot accept liability for any errors in respect of the posting of prices by members. BETDAQ cannot accept any responsibility for incorrect prices, results, live scores, times, general statistics and selections. BETDAQ reserves the right to make changes in order to account for any error.

Were the odds the wrong way round too or just the listing of the teams?

Odds were correct, just listed it wrongly. Here's their rule

          Section 26: Soccer
All football match bets apply to full 90 minutes play unless otherwise stated. This includes injury time but not extra time, golden goal or penalty shoot-out. In certain tournaments a member may also bet for a team to progress to the next round, and it is the member's responsibility to ensure that the correct option is chosen before accepting an offer. In the event of a change of opponent from the one advertised, all bets for that match will be void. In the event of a change of venue, all bets will stand unless the match is played at the ground of the team listed as away.

Sod em. I'm going back to betfair. They could at least give a commission break to affected customers as way of an apology for being crap.
