    Pinnacle cash outs for Canadians...
Guys from Canada, what do you find is the best cash out option from pinny. Haven't done one yet but I can't even find a regular check option, everything seems to be a bank wire or moneybookers. Suggestions? Thanks.

Moneybookers seems to be everyone's favorite option because it's like Neteller was back in their hey day. However, if your just looking to eliminate the 3rd party processing altogether and receive your funds directly. Then a bank wire is your best option IMO sir.

I deposit and withdraw through instadebit. Deposits are instant and withdraws usually just take a few hours to hit your instadebit account.

Instadebit is pretty nice, but the limits can be low depending on what kinda bankroll your working with

For a withdrawal, i've used both bank wire and moneybookers. Unless i'm moving money between books then to me bank wire is absolutely the way to go. Money deposited directly into your account, therefore no risk of a hold on it. Also if your pinnacle account is in canadian dollars, moneybookers will not send you a canadian currencey check, therefore you are paying the exchange fee twice. (Once transfering it to Cdn to turn it into a USD check, and once at your bank to convert it back). Additionally, if you deposit via moneybookers you will have to withdraw it that way so you eliminate all your other withdrawal options until you withdraw the amount of your deposit.

Huh? Did you choose USD as your Moneybookers account currency? Surely if your Moneybookers account is in Canadian funds this wouldn't be a problem?

My moneybookers account is in Canadian, as most of my accounts are in Canadian. However, moneybookers won't send checks out in Canadian funds. My accounts being in Canadian wasn't a big deal in the Neteller days because they would EFT funds in Canadian. But as stated, moneybookers won't send out Canadian denomination checks, so i absolutely try and avoid cashing out through this method.

Cobra, any particular reason you don't like moneybookers bankwire withdrawal option, does your bank give you problems for receiving bankwires over a certain amount or the number of wires
                  thanks

Same reason as stated above, they wire the money to me in American, thus i'm paying the exchange rate twice. Otherwise i'd have no issue with them wiring me the money and my bank (TD) has never given me a problem in regards to receiving wires.

                      Ah damnit.

I even thought I looked over this type of stuff before opening my account but I mustve have missed this aspect. Visiting the site now I see that they do indeed only send out in USD.

Thanks for the heads up though.

I avoided this scenario by having my moneybookers account based in USD.

I have a USD TD bank account linked to moneybookers for receiving USD wire-transfers from them, they can also send you a USD check that can also be deposited to my TD USD bank account (with a hold, of course).

The nice part is currency conversion, once the USD wire hits my TD USD account I can leave the funds in USD or move funds into my CAD TD account online 24/7, I get the best rate possible this way and only move money when I need to. Should I later need to wire funds back to moneybookers I have the funds sent from the TD USD account, avoiding another currency conversion.

I've tried many ways over the years, I think I finally have it figured out.

Pinny bank wire withdrawl problems in Canada

I used the bank wire withdrawl method to withdraw $10,000 from my pinny account and 5 business days later pinny e-mailed me and said the bank info I gave them(TD Canada Trust ) was incorrect and they returned the bank wire into my account. I checked the info I sent pinny with my bank (TD Canada Trust) and the bank said all the info was correct,so I don`t know why pinny would say this.
Anybody else ever have this problem because I`m wondering if pinny is just stalling to pay out this $10,000 and hoping I go on a losing streak and lose it all.

24/7, you might be having a stalling problem, but i once went in the Td bank to get my swift code and they gave me the wrong number, although TD is by far the best bank, ask the customer service people not the tellers
hope you get paid , it would suck if a place like pinnacle is delaying

The problem with doing this is that my main accounts.......Pinnacle/Greek/Cris are all in Canadian funds. So if i had my moneybookers account in american currency, then every time i wanted to move money between accounts i'd still have to pay the conversion rate twice. Once with the withdrawal converting it to USD, and once again with the deposit converting it back to CDN. I'd rather use Moneybookers to move money and if at all possible, use bankwires to withdraw it.

It would be extremely surprising and out of character if Pinny were doing that. Has to just be a mixup.

I understand perfectly, at one time my Pinnacle/Greek/Cris accounts were all in CAD as well, I had those accounts closed and opened new ones in USD. Mainly because the USD is a major currency and getting things done in USD from overseas/offshore is much easier in USD.

Plus some books don't offer CAD sports accounts - Matchbook, 5Dimes, Betjam, etc, so having ALL my accounts in the same currency makes sense. Moving USD around via moneybookers is a snap.

Also, some books , ie DSI send you the CAD (for your CAD based DSI account) equivalent in USD when requesting a payout, its safe to say they don't give you the best rate of exchange.

Another option is to have wires from moneybookers sent to a CAD bank account and then the bank converts the dollars for me at a better rate than moneybookers.

Basically, moneybookers is more convenient when dealing in a major currency like the USD, for CAD transactions one can always use Instadebit.
