Betus.com Experience & request for new Book
First of all, SBR seems like a great site loaded with information. A few weeks back I opened up an account with BETUS.com - kept getting information from them in the mail and I finally pulled the trigger. After a couple weeks I nearly doubled my investment (only $500 initial deposit) so I thought I would ask for a check - just to see how long it would take. I was blown away that it cost $50 just for a payoff. It pissed me off so that's when I started looking at other books and found SBR, also its when I found out the nice D+ rating Betus received. Anyways, last Tuesday I asked for all my funds to be cashed out, it was approved Tuesday but the check was not sent out till this Monday. I emailed them every other day and called and bottom line customer service indicated that it was standard to take 4 business days to release funds. That just seems excessive.

I received the check from Betus today - so they must send it FedEX overnight or 2 day - good. Loved the software and the layout of the site. Customer service was always prompt and most importantly spoke clean English. Lines were good. The $50 fee and 4 business days before they even write a check are unacceptable.

Anyways, so I sign up for the Greek and BetJam, but when I am set to deposit they wont accept my Chase **********. Anyone have suggestions for a decently rated sports book that has no fees or minimum fees for payoffs, actually will send out a check within a day and will accept my Credit Card. Any help would be appreciated - thanks...

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum

BetUS payouts normally take up to as many as 10 business days (2 weeks), so 4 days is pretty good really.

As far as finding a book that will accept credit cards go, you might want to try either Bookmaker, BetOnline and Carib. I know those establishments accept CC with a very high success rate, however no books out there will allow you to cash out within one day with them processing method.

I'm suprised you got paid by BETUS within that time frame!
I've heard of horror stories with them.
You can try your card online with the PIG, great book with fast payouts, my cards work with them and no one else. However, with credit cards they will require you 14 business days after deposit before you can pull funds!

Thanks for the replies - I appreciate it. I looked at Bookmaker and Betonline, and they both charge a $50 fee for every check they send out on payouts. Betonline also did not accept my Chase **********. Carib did not have any information regarding payout options and the layout on their site was not appealing. I will keep looking, but it appears that a $50 fee just to get a payoff check is standard - - Thanks...

          Sportsbook Criteria:

          * low payout fee when receiving a check
          * accepts Chase **********
          * Customer service speaks and understands English
          * Will send out a check within four days

Typing my criteria - maybe Betus wasn't all that bad - SBR just gives them such a poor rating.

Quite surprising that Betus paid you in 4 days without much hassle or delay. I played their 3 years ago, and cashing out was impossible even though they had neteller available to US customer. Given that you only have 2 post, I'd take what you said with alot of skepticism.

Legendz (SBR Rated A+) offers what you are seeking sir. Please note that they do have a 14 day hold on credit card deposits, however they also offer 1 free payout per month and their check processing is between 2-4 days on average.

Thanks for the info - I will take a look at legendz later tonight - that's one I hadn't looked at. A 14 day hold is fine on initial withdrawals makes sense to me - no problems there.

I assure you I am not promoting Betus at all - I had to stay on them. When I first asked for my payoff - first it said waiting for approval despite the fact they had all my credentials. Then the next 3 days it showed something like awaiting withdrawal. Then the weekend came and two more days. They said they didn't perform any authorization during the weekend and the typical wait was 3-4 business days. I sent 4 emails and 1 phone call during the payoff process, basically letting them know I was new and was unaware of payoff process and asking what the payoff time lines were. I was promptly answered, but the answers were vague and that's why I had to email often.

I would think you have to look at all posts with skepticism, but by researching and balancing the good and bad posts - you get a decent feel for different sportbooks - Thanks...

I do not promoting betus. This is just my experience.I used my bank card, and 3 **** gift cards($100),they requested to send copies of all of them, plus ID copy I did it by e-mail(it is doesn't make any sence for gift cards). As I said payout was fast but I had to call them like 20 times during this period they giving you run around, but they pay.

Plus my bank charged me about $30 for converting currency and $16 for incoming wire transfer. So payout really cost me about $120.

Payout that fast in Betus is way faster than I ever got when I played there. Now thinking about it I never got one more than 10 buss days!

Thanks bigboydan for the Legendz suggestion. Was able to use my credit card and signed up/deposited without issues last night. Very easy - had to speak to customer service about a bonus, but received that without much delay.

If you have anymore suggestions like Legendz, I would certainly like to have another account or two somewhere else matching my criteria. I realize I do like overnight lines which Legendz did not offer, but its nice to get me another book - thanks...
