Unibet Sportsbook seizes €10K balance without giving explanation

A Unibet Sportsbook (SBR rating B-) player claims that his €10,000 balance was seized. The player states that no specific reason was given the sportsbook for the funds confiscation, save from an excerpt of their terms and conditions which allow the company to close an account "without any explanation whatsoever". | Read more

Update: Unibet has now been downgraded to SBR Rating C.

Any site limit competent gambler shouldn't have a rating no more than a c+, and with confiscation without reason should be automatically blacklisted.

I agree but than SBR would lost thier sponsors like willhill, Ladbrokes, 888, Bet365 or BetOnline. All of them are realistic C rated bookies but on SBR they have status of Gods as they pay this page.

On their history of paying, basically.

They don't include limits at all.

Yeah baby, no site should get a rating better than a c+ when they are the judge, jury and executioner. I am patiently waiting for SBR to downgrade Labrokes to B-. Those guys limit my bet to $10 after I signup a week ago and won around $50 from them.

If they don't steal your money, there's no foul. I've had my limits cut at every A+ or A book I've played at (at some point).

Does that include Pinnacle (who boast that they welcome winners etc.)

What did they cut you to?

Every bookie has to manage a market, they'll cut you at some point. If you get cut you should take it as a compliment.

Nice. I guess having an edge with teasers is like taking money straight out of their pockets.

Anyone contemplating opening a Unibet account should be very careful. Since I opened my original account a couple of years ago have always found it to be unresponsive and has very poor customer service. One of the worst European operators - time waster and definitely one to avoid if at all possible. Don't like paying you when you win. Dreadful sportsbook and another one of the many Maltese operations which should be avoided.
