Must depend on where you live. 5Dimes is usually reported to be more widely in the 2-3 business day range for a check assuming it's sent on Monday.

Another poster reported the same exact timeframe, requested and received on those same days as me. But he also said 5Dimes told him there was a delay that week for whatever reason and that it normally is quicker. My typical luck, lol.

Either way, it was free and I got it in 8 days, so I'm certainly not complaining given the current climate. Some guys make it sound like if a check doesn't arrive by a certain date or they can't use a debit card that they won't be able to pay their rent. If I'm confident in being paid, have no problems with the check clearing, and the fees are reasonable (or non-existant in this case), I have no problem waiting a week or two.

Sure, it was great in the NETeller days, but those days are gone and being a little patient and flexibile really helps. In the end though, players just have to choose which books suit their needs best. If a debit card is really important to you, but all means, use books with them. Personally, I don't feel like running to ATM's and paying fees. Plus, if you're asking for a few dimes, that usually involves multiple trips.

Yes, I usually receive 5 Dimes checks on Wednesdays after requesting Sunday night or Monday morning. However, the checks take a lot longer to clear for me than for you.

I've received 3 payouts from 5Dimes since July and I hasn't taken more than 3 days for me to get the check.

The only problem for me getting payouts via a check is that my bank takes close to 3 weeks before they clear any check, not just from 5Dimes or other books.

This is my second 3k check the first one took about 9 days. I hope I can finally see the day when it takes only 2-3 days

For all the bank-related questions... From what I've gathered, and I'm no expert, it truly is bank-dependant. Banks are nothing more than comapnies and different companies have different policies. I'd like to say I chose my bank wisely, but it just happened to be the closest bank with free checking when I relocated many years ago and I apparently got lucky with respect to how they treat foreign checks, so I've stuck with them.

Because as I explained to you in the last thread, 5dimes has never (nor most any other book) sent a money order to anyone. It's not an option.

They either:

1) Sent you A CHECK to your house
2) Sent you a moneygram you have to go pick up at a moneygram store.

Thats why man. Regular mail can take a month or more if sent from another country. Always pay the extra for courier. Plus it can get lost in regular mail then that adds more time.
