Just curious, did he break any sbr rules? Or just because he did something to a book??

I assume it was the same reason for example that PWAD lost one of his many accounts back when he was on here yapping about chargebacking Justbet. Or why posters have their accounts closed when they try to extort books - SBR sponsor or not.
This industry is hard enough as it is for you guys who solely bet from the US. Some might not agree with the stance SBR takes on this but there's no need to post detailed processing info, or even worse, brag about something like this. A book making a mistake when they're aiming to quickly process who knows how many payouts a day - something we all know BI prides themselves on - shouldn't be seen as a time to rejoice publicly. It's actually quite scary to see how many would just take the cash, lose that out and in reality lose the other decent outs available to US bettors because that info will have spread already. The least of his worries if he intends to continue to gamble offshore is losing a posting account at some Internet msg forum. Makes zero sense for him to have started that thread but I guess he was just excited maybe. $1500 is a lot of cash to some people I suppose.

Someone made the point in the other thread, if he's not very good at gambling this is a great out for him. I'd suspect there are fair percentage of problem gamblers on this board, and problem gamblers are the ones the far least likely to send it back. So looks like he ran decent, took $1500 payout, got it doubled, and lost his SBR account. These are all great things if he's a problem gambler. So, I wouldn't worry too much about him. Hopefully either way it will turnout to be a good thing for him.
Note: for the record I'd of sent the money back. But, what someone else does, I couldn't care less.

Are people actually surprised he got banned? If you sit down and think about it rationally I think you might realize you become too emotionally invested in just about everything that you do; including reading forums online, including OP's that you actually don't care about.
To all the people that just chime in and say (on three different threads); "If it was me I would have given the money back" Cool story bros.

if a book manager came in here and gave details about stiffing a customer for $1500 and promised they would not pay the customer, would you not want to see the book blacklisted?

In USA, ”you're innocent until proven guilty”.
when books f*cked you over then you have to file a complaint form but not downgrade or blacklist yet until further investigation by SBR. So my question for the one who banned Astro : did you investigate yet or you banned him because betisland paid SBR? Favorism isn't it?
Slowpay = holding on money is not yours = scam = betonline.com <=== SBR, why don't you ban them too?
I'll send the money back, if I was him!!
just my opinion.
I suggest, BI.COM please file a proper complaint form Then send all the evidences such as chat.script, receipt for ** (follow what we have to follow when books scam us)and SBR needs to unban Astro then open an investigate.

and yet he made a thread where he tried to extort a book and used SBR and public image as leverage so he could get his way and operate his scam... and then he rails on the guy who took the money... and praises shari's post

It's pretty simple. Users that steal from or scam sportsbooks and use the forum to promote it aren't welcome here. Just as you wouldn't want an F-rated book on here talking about screwing a player over & uploading pics of his confiscated funds.

Probably the most logical thing I'veheard from SBR about this whole BS.

Hmmmmmmm... I am just wondering. I surely understand this particular banning for content and I guess we could say conduct unbecoming and it involves a standup shop like BI and Jon, but... and I will use an example of a closed service to not start more controversy with a current service, but what if it was a service like Bet911... would he still have been so quickly banned...

Not going crazy at all.
I deleted my response to you although I'd have no problem sharing it in private. I just sometimes forget that there are way more people looking at threads than the ppl I see in here. Nothing nefarious I promise and if you even care to see it (I promise it wasn't earth shattering as I suspect you already knew) just let me know via PM.

Stealing from sponsor books isn't allowed. Stealing from other posters is OK though.

i had duplicate payouts happen a few times with neteller and they were always from good books so i returned the money. but its hypocritical to upgrade a site like wagerweb who stole from a player but ban a guy who's threatening to steal from a book. and the wagerweb theft is a lot larger.

LOL that you continue to equate my bonus dispute to a scam and now extortion. It was neither--I got the same bonus everyone else got (requiring over 15k in action). Also there is nothing wrong with bringing a complaint to the forum when the Book renegs on the bonuses it offers.
What's creepy though is that you follow me from thread to thread, much like a gay troll, about this resolved issue. Get over it. Sorry my public complaint tarnished my reputation in your eyes. Find a more worthy poster to lavish your gay worship on. If it makes you feel better, "it's not you, it's me"--you deserve better.

Astro would have been better off just taking the money from Cory... not that I am promoting robbery or violence in any way on this forum. That would be bbbbaaaddd...
