The match is starting in less than 20 hours, and Im wondering what you guys are on here? Im thinking over 2,5 @ 1.80 [-125] is a pretty descent bet. Game one is always dangerous if you're on the over I know that, but I just don't see this one going under 2,5. Anyways I wanna hear your opinions on this one.

why not? Valencia almost beat them at home, had so many chances, hit the post twice, plus soldado , their best striker came in just around the 75min. I think Bayern wins tomorrow with a one-two goal difference(1-0 or maybe 2-0) and then they will kill madrid in counters on the away leg.

I really have no idea right now what to bet in this game. Maybe I just throw a hundred on Arjen Robben to score @+197 or Mario Gomez @+138, just for the fun of it, and lean back and enjoy a (hopefully) really nice fight. Yet, I don't think I will put large money on a side.

Robben to score is also a good bet. Gomez not so much, he never scores against good teams.

Im getting more confident on the over here, with players like Ronaldo, Kaka, Ozil, Gomez, Robben and Ribery etc, on the pitch, there simply has to be goals. Real Madrid could be careful in this one, but they`re probably get punished if they do so. Bayern on the other hand is playing in front of almost 70.000 fans, that want to see their team perform to their full potential. And we know Bayern on a good day can score a lot of goals.

I think the total is terrible to bet on in this one. Real often plays to get the away goal in these two legged sort of set-ups, but of course with all the attacking talent one would think goals should be there ... can't see an edge personally to over or under. I don't think the historical trend listed earlier has much to say here. Last meeting in 2007? Five years, different squads, etc.

Not sure if you are talking about a league game. In a cup tie, an away goal could be '2 goals if the home team can't score'. If Bayern loses tonight, I could hardly see them winning away. Mourinho is a master of defensive counter football.

Anyway, I believe both of us are on the same page here, believing Bayern could snatch a narrow win at home.

I agree. Home advantage should help Bayern tonight though. Give them the slight edge, thus picked the Bayern pk. Just don't see Real taking this, they might even settle with a draw.

Well I checked the stats of earlier semifinals[1st leg] played in the Champions league. And well, lets just say there hasn't been that many goals the past few years. Teams tend to play a bit too cautious, but I dont think thats the case in this one.

Win or lose, I just hope we get a great match! Good luck with whatever you pick guys, but Im gonna cheer for a lot of goals in this one. BOL!
