Initially Fortuna received a lot of betting action because the Jong Ajax Coach was saying that he wanted the game moved to Wednesday because he wouldnt have any players available due to a lot of the young players being called up for International duty. But now 1st team Coach Frank De Boer has said that 1st team players Schone, Hoesen, Veltman, Serero, and Sana will be in the team for the game. Also, Fortuna haven't won a game away from home yet, and have only scored 1 goal in last 5 games (losing 3, drawing 2) so are not in the best of form.

The significant players that will be missing due to internationals/injuries (and are the reason why the Coach wanted the game moved to Wednesday) are: GK van der Hart (6 apps), RB Tete (8 apps), CB Ligeon (6 apps), Sporkslede (9 apps, 1 goal), DM Enoh (4 apps), CM Klaassen (6 apps, 1 goal), CM Lobotka (8 apps, 1 goal), and AM Andersen (2 apps, 3 goals).

My guess at the starting line-up would be:

Well yes, I played it on Saturday and explained why everybody will be betting Jong Ajax (see my posts above!)

I don't think it is too significant, he is better than some of the other defenders that Fortuna have but he hasn't played a game yet this season so isnt going to be match-fit. Another article has just been released on a Dutch site that indicates that N'Koyi won't be playing...that is a lot more significant as he is their most important player. 5 goals in 11 games so far this season and scored 15 in 20 apps last season.

The main concern is the weather and the state of the pitch as it has been non-stop rain in Amsterdam for past couple of days. The game is being played at the Toekomst (The Future) which is Jong Ajax's ground rather than at the Amsterdam Arena so the game could get called off, or if it doesnt the pitch could be in a poor condition which would aid Fortuna as Ajax are all about passing and playing "total football"
