                                                                    FC Nordsjaelland shouldn't be as strong as they were last season as they have lost key defender Okore (29 apps, 4 goals), and top-scorer Julius John (22 apps, 10 goals). That alone wouldnt be enough of an incentive for me to back Esbjerg normally, however, for this game Nords will also be without 3 regular midfielders from last season in Christensen (26 apps, 6 goals), Lorentsen (20 apps, 4 goals), Stockholm (30 apps, 5 goals); and also striker Nordstrand (22 apps, 7 goals). Esbjerg beat Nords 1-0 at home last season, and Nords only won 6 out of 16 away games so not a particularly dangerous away side.
