Man Utd 1.7 = Banker of the month
Its time to load up your money in a wheelbarrow, transport it to your betting account and dump the lot on Man Utd, last season Man Utd won 18 out of 19 games at home in the EPL and with their squad being even stronger this season i think they'll be coming close to that again this year, you should totally disregard Tottenhams win over Hearts to as a case to think they have any chance of getting a result since Scottish football is atrocious at the moment.

Tottenham are an average away team and i'd be stunned if they can get a result here so my selection is Man Utd @ 1.7 with 10/10 stake, although Vidic and Ferdinand are both missing i'm sure the firepower United have will more than overcome that, the ommision of Modric for Spurs hurts them more than any of Uniteds missing players.

    TEAM NEWS

Manchester United will be without injured trio Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic and Rafael, with Michael Owen and Javier Hernandez also sidelined.
Jonny Evans is set to partner Phil Jones at centre-back, while Patrice Evra returns after a knee injury.
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp says Luka Modric, who has been repeatedly linked with Chelsea, will not play on Monday.
Spurs will monitor Peter Crouch's ankle injury, while Ledley King, William Gallas and Alan Hutton are ruled out.

    Head-to-head
    • Tottenham have failed to win any of their last 24 meetings with Manchester United in all competitions.
    • Spurs' last victory over United was a 3-1 success in May 2001 at White Hart Lane. They have failed to win any of the subsequent 20 league matches, two FA Cup ties and two League Cup games.
    • It's 22 years since Spurs last won at Old Trafford - a 1-0 victory in December 1989 courtesy of a Gary Lineker goal

    Manchester United
    • The Red Devils registered just one shot on target against West Brom, according to Opta, fewer than in 76 of their last 77 league games.
    • They won 18 of their 19 league games at Old Trafford last term, equalling the Premier League record for most points won on home turf.
    • Manchester United substitutes scored 11 league goals in 2010-11, more than any other team.

    Tottenham
    • Spurs won just three of their final 12 league games last season.
    • They kept one clean sheet in their last eight top-flight matches.
    • Seven of their eight league losses in 2010-11 came away from home.
    • They scored 15 goals from outside the penalty area last season, four more than any other Premier League side.

Of course not. They are still up against a very good quality side(Modric or no modric). The central defense is missing for united and the goalkeeper looks about to shit himself in all games he played so far. United playing with a lot of young players so this by no means will be easy.

I feel safer taking Spurs +1 or the over but no bet for me

But Harry is a good friend of Alex. And don't forget, Arsenal have just lost their 11 years unbeaten run. Will Tottenham do it against Manchester United to break sir Alex's side unbeaten run against them?

I am not too confident about this today.
On the other hand, the only team you can trust on the Island, is ManU.
                        Anyway, good luck

I don't think you can call this a banker, it is not going to be easy. Man Utd is known as a slow starter in recent years. SAF will probably get the win tonight, but willn't be surprised if it is a draw. It is also Tottenham first game of the season, and they will be up for it. I am keen for Man Utd to concede first then pound hard on the odd after that.

                          Good luck!!!!

I think Tottenham comes out sloppy and Man U. continues their home dominance with a (1-0,2-0) result. Under 2.5 Pounded

It was 1.62 when I got it 15 minutes before kickoff Perhaps that was because some people lost faith in the young United team (I just saw Dawson was playing and laughed all the way to the bank)
